@@zzz-gw2xb Saying low elo ends at radiant is kinda insane...I'd argue that a logical way to segment elo would be that low elo is anything below average, so 50th percentile and below, or up to 75th percentile and below if you want to be stingy. AFAIK Radiant is the top 500 or so players in the entire server region, which seems like an insane bar to be considered not "low elo". I would say that it might be fair to only consider Radiant or maybe Immortal + Radiant to be "high elo", but you have to have some "mid elo" in there.
@@kingacrisius thinking that low elo ISNT radiant is flawed thinking. imagine you have a football pitch where you can see neymar and messi play a game against benzema, and then right next to that pitch you have a pitch where you can see chelsea u18 play against leeds u18, and then next to that you see a sunday league team etc. which pitch has good players? if you think an u18 player is anywhere CLOSE to messi or neymar you are just delusional.
Woohoojin going out of his way to create a better guide so that he can make his VOD submission rules more strict so that he can improve people's skill at the cost of less content. Amazing
while i don’t think it’s a bad thing that this isn’t true, this is actually the opposite. He’s improving peoples skills sure, but it’s at the cost of higher quality content. He has no chance of getting to all the vods submitted to him, this gives him the ability to lower the number of vods sent and higher the quality
Hey Woohoojin, this video is quite old by now so I don't know if you'll ever see this comment, but I just wanted to let you know that this really helped me. I've been a dabbler in FPS games for years and years and, thanks to nearly 200 hours in kovaaks, have pretty solid raw aim despite an utter lack of talent. Nonetheless, I have never been able to perform consistently in any actual games (decent bit of valorant, hundreds of hours of counterstrike, good amount of apex). Bottom fragging was the norm, and I'm a textbook example of a player that "plays valorant like it's a horror game", I think that's how you put it in one of your vod reviews. Between adopting the overaim drill, trying my best to take your peeking advice (paying close attention not to swing anything with W held, always trying to preaim as best I can and prepare myself mentally for someone that WILL be there), and playing Reyna (and imagining you screaming at me to splat them like bugs, that these silver players can't fight me, the way you did for Dr. Turnip), I'm a completely different player than I was a week ago. The difference is unreal, and years of technically true but ultimately useless, trite advice ("aim at head height", "take your time before shooting", "don't shift peek close to the corner because of angle advantage") has failed to get me here: less than a week ago I bottom fragged a game with zero kills in the first half. My last four games I top fragged four times as Reyna, got way more quality mechanics practice than I would in twenty games before, dropped my first thirty bomb, got my first ace, and had more fun than I literally ever have been able to in 443 hours of counterstrike and probably 60-70 hours in valorant. I already had high percentile raw aim due to the hours I put in a few years ago, but I've never been able to make it come together like this, and this video and a few of your others have handed me all of the missing pieces in a way that actually fits for me.
Hands down the best coach out there. Just watching your videos has improved my play substantially over the last few weeks. I'm literally playing less but playing with more intent in both practice and actual matches. Game is fun again, I can actually see a tangible improvement in my play too. Thanks banana man.
Somewhere around a month ago, I started playing Valorant a little seriously. Although I’m not in Gold yet, I’ve successfully climbed from Bronze 1 to Silver 1 in less than a month. It may not be much, but as a really busy guy, this is more than I could’ve imagined in this time span. Woohoojin’s content really laid out the basics for me, and it made me way more confident. Cheers!
Here I am again, after on and off Valorant gaming; after dedicating the last 2 weeks to following this video, I am now Gold 1. Thank you, Hooj. I'm going for Plat by the end of the year, and maybe even Ascendant by the end of next year. Again, thanks coach!
When I saw this video I was a bit skeptical... But I screenshot the warmup routine and queued a whole bunch of unrateds to practice with those rules. It has made an insane difference. I l'm hitting more shots. I can finally beat people in some common 1v1s, when before I would always lose them. I'm getting in better positions, better places to secure a win. I've been in Silver since Episode 5. Today I played comp and double ranked up to Gold 1. This guide works. It works incredibly. Thank you, Woohoojin
i started the trainer routine from the original video about 2 weeks ago and I can say I am able to do everything in the video consistently. It really has helped me climb I can say I'm consistently top fragging no matter if I win or loose. I still haven't hit gold yet but I can feel the improvement. Keep it up man.
This routine really got me to gold under a month. I was a hard stuck Bronze III with 12% HS before I watch this video, Now I'm a Gold I with 17% HS and it took me about 3 weeks to get here . Thank you sooo much for making this video!
this actually worked, I have done this across two to three months when I was in bronze 3 and now I am gold. The reason why it took longer than said was because I didn't play comp as match as advised, but the aim drill still worked! Thank you Woohoojin
Idk if you read all comments. I don't personally have two hours a day, but i 100% believe you are correct in this take and that this routine highlights what I lack as a player. I love ALL of your content, especially following JPC's journey to diamond, and while i don't have the time to completely follow these routines, i make an effort to incorporate as many aspects as I can. You are amazing.
This has taken me from hardstuck bronze 3 to silver 3 in about a month. I used to think I'd never be able to make it out of bronze, and now i'm about to reach gold. Thanks banana man!
I wasn't able to reach gold in a month with the Reyna training, but it was because I was often tilting and taking bad gunfights. Since switching back to Omen, I realized that I was more confident in taking 50/50s overall and I am fragging out more consistently. It turns out playing with Reyna forced me to play much more aggressively and more confidently (even when the play itself wasn't smart). I'm slowly making my way up again. Thanks for the new guide!
After all this time, I came back to this video to comment: This routine DID take me to gold. It was a game changer on how I should work on my mechanics. I'm currently Plat and improving everyday and Valorant was the first FPS game that I really started playing competitively a year ago. So from Bronze 3 to Plat 1 in about a year (it could've been in even less but irl stuff got in the way) and Woohoojin really helped me along the way. Cheers!
I’m so glad I found your vids!! I have a hard time ranking up bc I work full time so my time is limited to play, but your vids have helped a lot with my gun hygiene and slowly gain confidence in my ranked games!! Appreciate what you do and look forward to more content from ya 😋
thank you so much, i first started with the goal of proving to you that I am actually stuck even though I'm better than my teammates, but after following ur aim routine, my aim saw a significant change: i went from 5-10 while deadzoning in medium bots to a consistent 20+ in a matter of days (like 2 weeks). Also today i got a win streak up to gold :), wish you the best in ur coaching!
Dude I was feeling so stuck for that past few months in Valorant and on a 11 game loss streak but after watching your guides and rules I’ve gained so much since. You’re the best at talking about things most coaches don’t. Really appreciate the work you’re doing keep it up brotha
Hello woohoojin! I just wanted to say that i really appreciate your content. The way you explain things and how precise you are and how you adapt to every student and don't give all the boring advice that everyone has heard made me want to just binge your videos. With your help i went from bronze to my gold rank up game (hopefully i win it) and i can confidently put up a fight when i play with my diamond friends!
I haven't watched the original video, but ever since I watched your vids, I'm not stuck at bronze 2/3 forever anymore and I'm moving up to silver! I'll do my best to follow this guide.
Man, I haven't taken any of your live coaching sessions and solely watched a ton of your videos. Valorant is my first shooting game and I started Episode 3 Act 2 (Gold 1) and got to Ascendant by Episode 5 Act 1. I have been in a slump lately but I feel like I have a better understanding on a game now and I have tested my knowledge by trying to play on a higher ranked account and managed to do fairly well against Immortal players. The guides and VOD reviews you have made have helped me play the game and literally break all my previous knowledge and rebuilt myself into a new player and with my growth, I hope to reach immortal soon too! You're actually GOATED AF man. Keep doing what you're doing. If I do hit Radiant, I owe you hella lot.
Even though I haven't hit gold yet, this video (along others on your channel) ended up helping me understand proper movement and gunfighting etiquette and I'm already starting to have more fun improving. Thanks for the updated guide!
Thank you woohoojin, you have really helped me with your guides, videos and vods from helping me process information in my fights better and realizing all my mistakes. Just 1 week ago I was hard stuck bronze 2, till today I've seen my slight improvement getting myself to silver thanks to your informative videos.
I'm glad you let that "Use Reyna" only rule go, I felt like that was the only flaw in your previous guide, because it doesn't let me play to my comfort zone. I'm a former Yoru main (Current Neon main), and I hate using Reyna simply because of her lack of creative utility. What sets valorant from any shooters for me is the initial pre-planning stage before combat, and all I can do with Reyna is (flash this, flash that) Whereas with Neon and Yoru I can think of where to flash+tp (and how to change it up), where to throw my bolts, where to fastlane, when to use my ult, etc. I've been using your previous guide though, and last act I almost reached Silver with Reyna. (I only started competative in Act 3, been mostly playing unrated) But I wasn't happy because she's not a very fun agent to play with. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying this out. Thank you, Banana Sensei. You've really helped me reach my Valo goals despite my busy schedule.
So nice to see you committed to making a sequel to your video! Ranking up is going to be much harder because of how good you are making the community :D
Can already tell that I'm improving following this routine. Although I'm really struggling with the medium bots benchmark, I can barely hit 20 while standing still lol, so far I can only do 5 on overaim after a few days of practice
@@Szystedt I suck at the overaim drill still but was able to do 17 bots today which is the highest I've managed, I can sometimes hit 15 bots while deadzoning too but I'm not quite consistent enough at it yet
@@eter-nj3vt When strafing one way, switch to the other strafe direction. Your character will take a short amount of time to slow down before going the other way. For the duration of time that you are nearly stationary in that transition, you can shoot without any movement inaccuracy.
i went from s1 to g1 in roughly 2 weeks after watching your "get gold" vid and was able to drop +20 kills when i used to average like 12 kills a game!! youre helping a lot tysm banana man (my performance went down after i got lazy and didnt do the exercises u mentioned so yeah dont make the same mistake guys)
I found your content through the original video and I followed the routine. I had been stuck bronze for multiple acts and this act I made it to gold! I will say I didn't stick as strictly to the routine and I had to do additional research to get there, but it provided a huge breakthrough for me. Including deadzoning in this guide is super important imo as deadzoning and learning to use cover were really the big things that got me to gold. I strayed from Reyna here and there and I felt like it made me backslide on my gunfights. In the moment it's hard not to fall back on bad habits or use your utility to help you get kills. I think the perfect "Get to gold" guide is somewhere in the middle of both videos. Your aim routine, force picking Reyna to reinforce the aim routine, and then playing for the long term rather than short term. I had a lot of bad days but they were started to fade the more I practiced. I really was shocked by just how much my gunfights were holding me back. I was that bronze player with dozens of one ways and line ups on viper/omen but couldn't manage to win any duel that wasn't overwhelmingly in my favor. Thank you for your continued efforts to help everyone improve. I'm one of the many that has greatly benefited from your content and I hope you keep doing it!
While I would love to enforce a Reyna lock, it's really just not realistic when my guide is going to be potentially seen by more than 20% of the lower rated population. This is why I have expanded the agent pool, and fallen back on this new restriction in its' midst.
@@Woohoojin that's a very good point and honestly when I didn't load first and Reyna got taken I was a bit lost! At least watching jpc made me just default to brim which went well for me lol.
After two weeks I was trying to get a gold 1 from silver 2 I found your channel. I found your guides about movement and gun fights very good for me. This video is also very nice. Today I got a really good aim experience while my ranking games and that's because of you. Thank you
I honestly have to thank you for this and the prior guide video. I have started to play ranked more seriously when this Act reset my rank from bronze 3 to bronze 1 and I wanted to play with my higher platinum to ascendant friends. I found your channel and the guide and decided to try everything explained in there. Since then I have been able to rank up all the way until gold 2 and im on the way to plat right now. So anyone who says this is not worth it is just wrong. Thank you for everything you do Woohoojin (This is my first FPS game and until I started your one month to gold I was just playing 5 stack in diamond/ascendant lobbies so I was not learning anything at all)
When I watches your previous video I was placed Bronze 3 (Gold 2 last season). Even though I've been gold in the past, the training routine was seriously impactful and I noticed I felt more confident in a gun fight. I've climbed to Gold 1 as we speak and feel as though I've only just begun
Keep your mental strong (you can still win a game if you end the first half with a 0-12 team score, just believe in yourself and make good decisions, don't lose the game by giving up on a situation that feels impossible, I promise it's possible, you're in plat, the enemies WILL make mistakes, it's up to you to capitalize on them), play with your teammates, communicate clearly and concisely, try to form a plan before the round has begun, you'll climb out 🙏 I believe in you
I havent played comp in so long because it feels like mental torture but with this guys guides and vod reviews i can genuinely feel myself learning and improving. Definitely one of the best val coaches out there 🙏
Hi woohoojin, I really was struggling on learning this game and you really helped me learn how to in reality "git gud". I kinda wanted to share something that I heard was amazing and really helped me from the community. I was having some difficulty doing some of the deadzoning, until someone suggested to the use the analogy where you think of the deadzone shot as an echo. Similar to how when you clap your hands in an empty basketball gym, there is a very rapid echo to your clap. They suggested to think of the clap as the key change and the echo as my deadzone shot. Thank you, for all you do.
lemme tell u.... i watched this video about 5 months ago and practiced... i made it to silver in no time. Now i am gold (i took a 3 month break from val) you are the best coach!!!
Thank you so much for doing this. I'm currently plat 1 (peak d2) and even I learned that I can't do some of these benchmarks. I'll start to try to do this a lot more and update on my progress.
thank you for this! i've been really trying to follow the other video, but i just haven't found the consistency yet so the clarification in this video will be really helpful for my climb to gold this episode. (i technically could reach gold this act if i wanted to, but gold this episode is a realistic goal for me. :D)
love you Woohoojin! By any chance could you make a video for mid-elo players who are trying to reach ascendant-immortal? It would mean a lot to know a practice routine, or if I can use these same tips for my plat games.
Past gold just do whatever aim routine you like and submit for a vod review to get personalized strategy advice. The easiest improvements to make aren't gonna be mechanical for most people above gold.
I love you Banana man. Quite literally the best valorant content on the platform. Also appreciate how quick your Mod mail responses are; keep up the good work
I'm quite late to this video and I'm not even sure if I'm suitable for this guide, since I can't even get 15 kils on the second benchmark. But It's been about four days since I've been following your guide. I used to be hardstuck bronze one, but now I've already ranked up to bronze three. I know that's not a big of an improvement to most, but for me it really is. :) Thanks Woohoojin.
Thanks woohoojin. Got to gold today after being stuck silver for a year. Always just did the activities here but i decided to change that.Took me a 2 weeks doing this to the tea. Think the biggest change was not queueing with friends. Its weird how it made such a big difference lol. Another thing was having to drop my ego and actually play it as a team game. Thank you once again for the amazing advice throughout all your videos and for always pushing for a more positive Valorant community. ❤❤❤️
I like how this guy is so chill while other guide youtubers are like speaking it's 18-19 1v5 situation, sweating all the time and telling me to subscribe every 3.09 seconds. Thanks woohoojin ex silver now asc 2 here
Holy cow that's an insane climb. I was completely new to val so I never really considered b2 my real rank, but I have climbed to g3 thanks to the banana man. :)
THANK YOU BANANA MAN, i reached plat following this routine and watching your other vod/guide videos like viper on pearl and icebox which helped a lot. i love you
Thank you so much mr bananaman. I have been following your drill from last video everyday for quite some time now. My problem is I can easily do easy bots consistently 27+ but I just am not able to hit medium bots, I can barely get 5-7. Any advice you can give to me? Should I just stick to easy mode?
For me I wasn't aiming fast enough for the mediums and had to do it without movement a few times until I could average over 20 without the movement drill and then I was able to do the movement drill meaningfully. Before that it was just bad habits to try to hit them followed by frustration.
I just watched this today, but I feel like the metronome will be really helpful for me. With the old routine, I felt like I got better at the range drills, but then I would load into deathmatch and have a really hard time feeling like I could implement those skills. I would try to practice doing the drills more quickly on either side of a pillar or something, but I didn't have any sort of target speed that I knew I should be aiming for. Valorant is my first FPS and I only started playing a few months ago, so I might be one of those people who take a bit longer to rank up. I'm in a place right now where my real life is kind of on hold because of health issues, and Valorant has become my fixation, so I really appreciate your helpful videos and tips, and I'm excited to implement these new drills
Thank you, Woohoojin. Your previous guide worked wonders for me. I was hardstuck on silver 2 for 100 games, and I ranked up to gold 1 in just 7 days (14 games). However, it did not work for my friend. He's still stuck at bronze. I'll make him do this (knowing he won't watch the video if I send him the link). I'm hoping he finally hits gold 😄. Regardless, the updated gunfight hygiene part with the cypher trip makes it much more clearer on how much you want us to exactly strafe.
Hey Woohoojin. Are you thinking about making videos "Get to platinum/diamond/ascendant in 1 month" series? I really hope so, because I just reached platinum and now thinking about what to improve next as a platinum player. I hope you consider this! :D
Such videos are not really possible, at that level you really need to VOD review and fix your own bad habits. There's not a "one size fits all" solution here.
I finally hit gold yesterday thanks to these videos. I can confirm if you follow this routine you will easily hit gold. However I will say make sure you are actually focusing and understanding what you are practicing so you can implement it in game. I spent a few weeks just mindlessly using this routine and wondered why I’m gameplay didn’t change. Once I connected those dots I was gaining rr rapidly.
Thank you Woohoojin, I do this routine everyday and I hit Gold last week ! I just saw your video with Darshan (ep.3) and will implement the deadzone train with the 100 bots. I admit it is hard but will try to improve. Thanks again ! :)
I want to start in act 2 but am already testing the routine. I feel like my reaction time and especially how far I have to overaim is the greatest challenge with the medium bots. I´m headlevel but if I don´t at least microflick I don´t really hit them. Any tips on practicing this? I mean moving and overaiming so your crosshair is on the right spot consistently. Or just do this routine and it will be enough at some point.
I’m a new viewer, just found this vid off a friend of mine who has improved a lot. I never really struggled when it came to taking 1 v 1 duels, though I find that the statement ‘don’t use any utility to take an advantage in 1 v 1 duels is a bit contradictory.’ At least form my viewpoint of ranked games, I think something that could improve this is showing a way on how to effectively use your utility when taking a fight. So that you as a duelist or any other agent can be better accustomed to taking a team fight.
This is my journey using this guide: Day 1 30/12/2023 / 30th Dec 2023 The first day was pretty good overall not including my comp games. I noticed after my training I was focusing on aiming for the head and strafing. And I was starting getting the hang of it. My comp games we won, but my K/D/A wasn't the best ( I didn't think it was the best) 9/12/6, as a Jett main, I was hoping that I would've gotten more that game, but I just accepted it and went on. Thank you Woohoojin :) I will be editing this every (or close to every) day. Day 2 31/12/2023 / 31st Dec 2023 The second day I could tell my training was paying off and my shots were more accurate. I went into my 3-4 deathmatches and did terrible in the first one, being below 5th place. My second deathmatch I was in the bracket of 1-5th place. Then, I went into my first comp game and Jett was stone ): My second main is skye. My first games K/D/A was 7/16/9 we lost and I was on 0 rr for bronze one. THEN THEN THEN THEN, The second game came around, I took Jett and the first half was good, being 2nd/3rd on the leaderboard, AND THEN IT CAME! THE MOMENT! The second half took place and I was ready, It was a 1v3 moment meaning I was the last standing. They were all grouped together, One in Mid Top, One in B Tunnel (on the boxes) and one on B site. I took my chance and took out the first player who was on b site, then Viper can around the corner and came into b tunnel, I then flicked her head and then TURNED to deadlock in Mid Top and flicked her head aswell. I FELT LIKE A LITERAL GOD, NOT TRYNA FLEX BUT WOOHOOJIN BROOO TY TY. That wasn't just luck tho bcz all my shots were on the head in one shot and if not It was in 4-5 bullets. THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU (on holiday for awhile)
I just did my first ever training day, and holy... I did the aiming bit, and the deadzone thingy, and then I popped into deathmatch and got 2nd place! I've never gotten more than 10 kills on deathmatch. The improvement after ONE session was absurd... Now to get level 20 to play ranked !!! Thank you!
I honestly think this could get anybody to plat. I have been Plat 1 for about a year (I don't really play) and I can't do most of this. If you can do all this stuff I think plat is a fair goal.
Thank you for this, especially since the rank reset and elo adjusting, silvers and holds feel way more TECHNICALLY advanced then I ever remember them being, your previous guide got time to s2, and this one WILL get me to gold, thank you for this. Edit: I'M ALREADY S3 IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN A DAY WHAT THE HELL EDIT: HEY WOOHOOJIN!!!!! I HIT GOLD NOW!!! JUST BEFORE THE ACT ENDED LESSS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I've been binging all your videos for around a week now, really interesting and educational. Unfortunately I don't really have time to play (vod watching is during work hours when I get time), but hopefully at least some of that sticks. Right now, changing up how I aim seems to lower my performance, but hopefully as I get more comfortable with it, I will start doing better in my games.
So, the original guide did take me to gold 1. But seeing the benchmarks here it seems I might have brute forced it in some way. When banana man reviewed me I still had a problem with taking gunfights calmly. I'm adding this to my daily routine to see if it helps with my shot rushing problem. Thanks for the content!
Deadzoneing is when you press the opposite movement key to the one you are currently pressing. This creates a small amout of time where you can shoot with no inaccuracy.
@@coledalton8113 That's counter strafing, and it's not necessary in Val. The deadzone is that window of time when you change directions while strafing, when you are completely accurate. You can shoot between the second you lift your finger off the "a" button, or right as you press the "d" button, or vice versa. That's the "deadzone."
hi banana, i've been doing the medium bots drill daily and it's been helping so much. i suck with the sheriff, but hitting the weakness head on and seeing the improvement has been very rewarding.
For any doubters, it does work. You just have to be consistent. Was convinced I wouldn’t get out of Silver 1 and am now Gold 2. Keep grinding! Thanks Hooj!

I peaked Diamond 1 last episode and the metronome thing even at 80bpm is so absurdly hard for me. But maybe it's because I'm rusty, anyway this is a fun little practice minigame, I like it. Edit: Okay I watched the recommended movement and gunfight hygiene videos and apparently I have been playing this game wrong.
this helped me rank up from bronze 3 to gold 2! i got to bronze 3 by being an ares spammer and could barely work a rifle. i realized i had a habit of crouching every single time i took a shot so i had to unbind my crouch key for a while and i deranked to iron 3. but i learned how to use a phantom, stopped insta crouching, and ranked back up to gold! tysm!
You are joking. The system never lets a real Bronze player rank up to Gold within a month. For the goal going from bronze to gold you would need a win rate of 80-100%, this will never happend for a normal player. Only players who play below their rank can rank up quickly, we call them smurf.
Not true, I started playing Val E7 act 3 and have been bronze all throughout, started implementing woohoojin’s coaching, and just hit silver, with a 100% win rate in comp. Not gold yet but certainly not a Smurf, just tryna say that 80-100% is achievable if your rate of improvement just goes up and up (which it will if you practice)

@@zzz-gw2xbstill it cant deny someone improving. His goal is not to make you a pro player but just a better player. Gold is where most people are located so he just helps worse one achieve that goal.
Theres no way you are real?
@@nexztrah3712 what?

My wife is working her way up to gold and I think this would really benefit her. Thanks for the updated guide!
i started the trainer routine from the original video about 2 weeks ago and I can say I am able to do everything in the video consistently. Idk if you read all comments. I don't personally have two hours a day, but i 100% believe you are correct in this take and that this routine highlights what I lack as a player.
Congrats on the channel growth, you deserve it - every video has been entertaining, every breakdown and tutorial informative. Keep it up c:
This is the true *NO BS* type of guide video. Thank you bananaman
One month to gold was the first video I saw from you exactly like 4 months ago, glad you're still growing and wish you all the luck

Thank you Woohoojin, due to health and scheduling reasons I have trouble doing the routine every day, this helps a lot.

At least watching jpc made me just default to brim which went well for me lol.

though I’ve been plat for a few acts already, these tips will definitely help me hone my skills to the maximum 🙏 great video thank you
Keep your mental strong (you can still win a game if you end the first half with a 0-12 team score, just believe in yourself and make good decisions, don't lose the game by giving up on a situation that feels impossible, I promise it's possible, you're in plat, the enemies WILL make mistakes, it's up to you to capitalize on them), play with your teammates, communicate clearly and concisely, try to form a plan before the round has begun, you'll climb out 🙏 I believe in you

He already said in one of his videos that past gold, there is no one-size-fits-all approach so there will be no video dedicated to that
Past gold just do whatever aim routine you like and submit for a vod review to get personalized strategy advice. The easiest improvements to make aren't gonna be mechanical for most people above gold.

Gotta push yourself to move faster, you're probably aiming -> moving -> shooting. It should be aiming+moving -> shooting
The goat of all creators. I played valorant for almost 3 months always bottom fraging. Few days with his training I get 25 kills.

Such videos are not really possible, at that level you really need to VOD review and fix your own bad habits. There's not a "one size fits all" solution here.

This is my journey using this guide:
Day 1 30/12/2023 / 30th Dec 2023
The first day was pretty good overall not including my comp games. Thank you Woohoojin :)
I will be editing this every (or close to every) day.
Day 2 31/12/2023 / 31st Dec 2023
The second day I could tell my training was paying off and my shots were more accurate. Unfortunately I don't really have time to play (vod watching is during work hours when I get time), but hopefully at least some of that sticks. Right now, changing up how I aim seems to lower my performance, but hopefully as I get more comfortable with it, I will start doing better in my games.
can someone explain what dead-zoning is?
exactly im confused too
The amount of effort you put into your videos is insane man
whats deadzoning

So, the original guide did take me to gold 1. But seeing the benchmarks here it seems I might have brute forced it in some way. When banana man reviewed me I still had a problem with taking gunfights calmly. I'm adding this to my daily routine to see if it helps with my shot rushing problem. Thanks for the content!
what is deadzoning?
Deadzoneing is when you press the opposite movement key to the one you are currently pressing. This creates a small amout of time where you can shoot with no inaccuracy.

@@coledalton8113 That's counter strafing, and it's not necessary in Val.
The deadzone is that window of time when you change directions while strafing, when you are completely accurate. You can shoot between the second you lift your finger off the "a" button, or right as you press the "d" button, or vice versa. That's the "deadzone."
hi banana, i've been doing the medium bots drill daily and it's been helping so much. i suck with the sheriff, but hitting the weakness head on and seeing the improvement has been very rewarding.
impossible tried for a year didnt work
I litteraly did this, started playing valorant in November 2023 haven't had alot of fps experience before and got from iron 3 to gold 2
Bro I am sorry, I don't think fps games are for you.
For any doubters, it does work. You just have to be consistent. Was convinced I wouldn’t get out of Silver 1 and am now Gold 2. Keep grinding! Thanks Hooj!
😢😢😢 No way these benchmarks will make you hit gold…
@@hellomynameisRobX one of the biggest things is to also talk to your teammates. Ask for util/tell the them which util you are throwing as well as where. If you are still stuck, go watch the boomer silver to diamond series he has up. Lots of good info. #InJPCWeTrust
I had the exact same experience haha, starting over from the basics we gotta unlearn those bad habits !
this helped me rank up from bronze 3 to gold 2! i got to bronze 3 by being an ares spammer and could barely work a rifle. i realized i had a habit of crouching every single time i took a shot so i had to unbind my crouch key for a while and i deranked to iron 3. but i learned how to use a phantom, stopped insta crouching, and ranked back up to gold!
