I was a goth in the late '80s/early '90s and I'd say you pretty much nailed it! I would just use black liner on the waterline too, for maximum blackness.
***** I've been using eyeliner on my waterline for 28 years and never had a problem with it. The two best pencils for this in my opinion are Urban Decay's Perversion and Milani Liqui'fye. They're about the same shade of blackest black, and both are incredibly soft but also last all day. You don't want to go poking around with a hard pencil, and I'm not personally a fan of brushes on my waterline, though I see others doing it.
***** My favorite is a little Real Techniques smudge brush. I think it's called the accent brush. It's really, really soft and works well for me. Lately, I've just been smudging out eyeshadow under my eyes without also using eyeliner there. But I tend to either reach for one of the above two blacks or my UD Naked 3 pencil, because I'm obsessed with the rosy black.
did this look today! tho i chose silver over gold cos i like it better haha. id say the best thing abt it is that its surprisingly resilient. i have hooded eyes that crease the fuck out of any eyeshadow i put on within half an hour no matter the primer or the setting spray, but i did this 4 hours ago and it still looks flawless!
I've tried this look before but I couldn't get the eyebrows straight enough, I'll take your advice about going over the top of your natural brow :) also loved your eyeliner you're super skilled at it! ❤️
I wish I was good at makeup. I basically ju do some black eyeshadow, cat eye liner, some mascara and a dramatic, gothy lip colour. But the way I'm soooo obsessed with your channel. You're like, my favourite person right now 💙
I was a goth early to late 80s youve got the eyes pretty goid but we used to wear bkack or purpke liostick and bkack /purpke blusher. Realky giid attemot though. My eyebrows werent ever that thick
my dad just loooked over my shoulder and asked if this is a interview with siouxsie... You're officially 80's goth approved!
