@5:56 this is working for me👍 More content bro. Pocket Q's was played perfectly, Big Daniel. Great tips there that only a few of us PIO geeks know😂👍. However, I am not a fan of the K3s play. 1st: a 4X 3Bet sizing from OOP with extra dead money present- what exactly is this supposed to accomplish long term? if you decide to bluff-3Bet with K3s, it IS with the intention to deny equity. That's why from OOP(in general), I prefer at least +5x 3Bet sizings(Check for yourself in PIO). I would not try to get called from potentially two players who are IP - but you like this. 2nd: Although I like the Flop Check, again the brick turn on a semi-polar board is an opportunity to deny equity with your turned gutter. A polarized over bet would be more optimal to shut it down whist pushing maximum equity with your gutter. I don't want to bet two streets there, why(long term -EV)? I want to shut it down on the turn(long term +EV). This is not the the first video you show your wild(-EV) plays bro(from OOP+multiway+trash range). Long term, I'm certain these are accumulating into big leaks💙.
Hey thanks for the feedback, solid insights; About the K3s hand: It feels like you are talking GTO standpoint and long term EV but these are not 'standard' spots that you play over and over; that can apply to some extent to me attacking the reg; I still think going from 3.5bb to my 14bb 3bet is enough vs the reg as he will have a wide iso range here and a lot of snap folds, hard to defend properly. Again on the turn there is no optimal play, I play max exploit vs fish here. Overbetting turn is decent option, but I only make overs fold and I iso myself vs a stronger range that may not fold rivers. However if I bet medium turn, I get floats from a wider range (incl some Ahi) and get more folds with 2 street aggression (in a bigger pot); if I get an overcard river I can even bluff him off a pair - could overbet there.
Checked preflop sim and vs 3x btn we are mixing K5s, K4s; hard to see K3s being that -EV in this spot with a wider iso range and me having a wider than normal calling range. Still appreciate your points, open to having my game tested by someone outside. And yes, I def pull off some wild plays at times.
I liked it. I been playing for a while, mosytly live, and switched to online when the whole co vid bs happened... and MMAsherdog and his content really helped a lot, and your videos as well!! more content like this, and more content with MMA would be great!
It's one thing to say don't range bet but then you should lock the sim on flop and check the EV loss and villains response to the range bet to determine if it is really that bad, if the EV loss is minimal and villains response to range bet is not occurring often enough then why not just keep a simple strategy.
Big agree to this, youll find that people under check raise in this spot, making the range bet even better. Also considering the factor that a check vs range bet is already the exact same EV, and to go off your end point why not simplify your strategy and make your life easier
The point was more to exploit players who are range betting here. Your point is maybe correct against population and higher EV but it's an exploit and every exploit can be countered.
Think equilbrium vice vs his range, turning some of the offsuit Kdx comboes into a bluff makes sense. Think Qd blocker is somewhat bad here - if the flats okey is wide, should have some QJ that probably is the best turn bluff. Indifferent Kx combos with diamond K, seems like the rip.
Hi @showofforce great video and I liked how you showed a hand where you folded (seems strange but many RUclipsrs show hands with a result for the ‘pay off’ interest in the hand rather than being instructive! In the QQ bluff catch hand when I’m playing lower stakes the 1/3 range bet seems to pay off as it’s against bad nitty players whilst appreciate at high mistakes this is the wrong range to do this. I know you consider the raise all in over the 3/4 bet on the river but I imagine you would only do this against someone aggressive enough to be double barrelling in a 3 bet pot whose range contains weak enough hands to bet fold. I just don’t see many recreationals do this for big sizes and the ones that do are stupid enough to call the raise all in with a weak holding. What kind of showdowns would you need to see to make this check raise all in a viable play and categorise them good enough to bluff? Them always betting when they miss a draw? Them overplaying 2nd pair?
The river bluff is only against disciplined regs that are capable of folding strong hands, with the thought process that 'this spot doesn't get bluffed enough' ; I would never bluff here vs a fish for example
@@ShowofForce i was thinking a blockbet could induce a (bluff)raise or gets value from weak hands like middle pair, which he probably folds to a big bet
Lol I open up my game quite a bit in my vids and on discord, I prefer to not make my GG sn public and give free edge to opponents. That said, many ppl know it, my students know it, it's not a big secret.

Sweet, glad to hear! I keep asking him from time to time, but he's a private person. Maybe one day he gives in
Thanks for the vid! In practice at mid stakes do you think there would be a big difference in EV if you range bet that K38 board?
Not much unless ppl adjust

Yeah I like bluffing Kdx here if I think my hand is not good enough to call
Great content.
Gracias
That river in teh second hand was so sick.
I def didn't see it coming

do you think blockbetting the river makes sense in the 2nd hand?
What is the goal of a blockbet?
You lose value when he has a pair and he won't really raise much
@@ShowofForce i was thinking a blockbet could induce a (bluff)raise or gets value from weak hands like middle pair, which he probably folds to a big bet
Oh ok, when he takes this line he has some sdv if you think about his range, hard to think he would turn something into bluffs
