Gotta love trucks and boats, they're always broken or breaking... and solid music choice, wasn't expecting Colby Acuff to get this video going. Thanks again for another good one, even if it wasn't all boat limits and big bucks, that's real life.

I am from South Africa and i dont think there are a lot of countries that more sausages then us and what we do is to cut your meat and vat in small cubes ( it does take a bit more time) then we mix the spices in and let it stand for about an hour mix it again and then put it thru the grinder with the same size holes twice then let it stand in the fridge for at least 2 hours before you stuff it the big trick is to keep your meat and your equipment cold enjoy

Vacuum seal and freeze....nice job!! Pure hickory smoke or apple/hickory blend? Transmissions are stoopid expensive.....that is not a hateful price.....but still, no fun!!!! Have a great week!

If you rebuilt the transmission ??? Do you know how hard it is to completly get all the metal out of every thing ...The band or clutch materal is one thing but metal .. That take time !! When they get done . Flush the entire trans system out ! There's more metal in the lines and cooling system for the transmission . Great video like always and Cheers From Murrell's Inlet SC.

I bought my 2000 Sierra 1500 4x4 about 16 years ago with 232,000. Don't know about before but I've had my 4L60E rebuilt 3 times so far and should have had it back for another go round as it dropped 3rd, drive and O-drive. Same thing the last 2 times. The first time the drive she'll bring. That I've cost me $2,900. parts, labor and warranty. The last 2 times a different shop for $1,500. in and out and good warranty. As long as they make parts or repair kits I'll keep driving it. The 4L60E is the most popular and most used GM trans. I think most of the problem is trans overheating. I think that's where the problem is. This time I'm going with additional trans cooler and see if that helps any. So I do feel your pain! And obtw, l now have 468,000+ on it.

I blew my transmission in my Yukon with 70,000 on it. Torque converters a known problem. 6-O-80. JUNK. I had the same thing with the metal shavings. My converter was in pieces. You should have the same one..... I can't believe with the prices of these vehicles.... GM should step and fix the issue knowing they are junk. Flush and change the trans oil every 30,000 miles going forward. The Bearded Butchers are awesome. Their seasonings are phenomenal.

  • @leskobrandon3497

That's more than double what I paid to replace the Transmission in my Ford F-150 a few years back . Total was $2,600 . From Google on Chevy trasmissions :The average price range for transmission replacement is between $1,800 and $3,400 for a brand-new component. The additional cost of labor is often between $500 and $1,200. I recently paid $300 to have my truck towed back home after the serpentine belt broke an hour away from home .I was able to limp to a PepBoys and they gave me such a ridiculous price to replace the belt and the tensioner , I told them not to touch it . They tried to tell me the alternator needed to be replaced too , which was a lie . So they quoted me $1,085 , I paid $300 to have it towed home instead , I bought the parts , and had a mobile mechanic install the parts for $150 labor , and I saved right at $500 by telling PepBoys to screw theselves .

The snack sticks looked delicious. Feel bad about your Transmission. I’m a Ford guy and in 1974 I bought a Mercury Cougar with 351 Cleveland V8. Regrettably it had a puny C-4 automatic transmission. After pulling my 21 Seabird boat for two years one day when passing a car it blew. I bought a rebuilt transmission for $120.00. In addition I put in a transmission cooler. Pulled the boat for many years with no further problems.
