I just love how much in-depth information the narrator gives us on filet technique and in-depth info on the equip used...I love how they give the Sushi masters credit for his/her talent and where I can go and buy this product at the restaurant.
I've watched this video twice and commented once before. At my third viewing, I am even more impressed with this showcase on filleting skills I have been a professional chef for 12 years, and the skills put on display here are just phenomenal. A+++ once again.
You can tell that this chef loves cooking. He flows naturally in the kitchen, his precision is amazing, he makes you want to watch his videos over, and over, and over Again.
I seen quite a few other vids of other chefs doing this but this one is a brilliant chef, he cut it so well done that there's barely any meat stuck at any point at all. The others one's i seen does a good job but not as good at this one as the others have a bit more flesh stuck to the fish. This chef here if he is slower than the others doing it is only a little bit if at all slower doing the cutting but far cleaner with a lot less flesh hanging onto the bones. Amazing work.
What really impressed me is the precision and care in which he handled the fish. It was almost as if he was treating the fish with respect in my opinion. The final product was carefully placed not just thrown onto a tray and really nothing was wasted. Bravo.
For someone who doesn't know, some people eat raw beef and raw pork, yes raw pork (in German it's called 'Mett'). As long as they're safe to eat, then there's nothing wrong with eating raw meat. Have a nice day.
U losing a lot. You have to eat at least salmon and tuna sashimi. As a Turkish, my mom was finding it disgusting. Now she is forcing me to go places for sushi.
honestly i think that the most interesting part in this vid is the fish cutting part , that chef is GOOD! its as if he's been cutting fish since kindergarden!!!!
Natalie Harris same here because it helps me filet the fish I catch but taking out the squid from it stomach then eating it is nasty as fuck. Is there anything they won’t eat?
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity and show me step by step the different ways to clean and cut all kind of this delicious creaturs, thank you keep up you facinating work 👏👏👏
Я в восторге от свежести этой рыбы, и мастерства повара. Наверно только из - за таких видео хожу на ужин (служу в армии, каждый вечер одно и то же и в рот не лезет) хоть рыбу ем....
On top of flat fish like Halibut and Flounder tasting so good and being such a stable white fish the yield of meat to waste is higher than many fish but if you ever get it from a restaurant fried filet then always ask for dark side because look at this fish you get much larger filet from that upper portion.
That's a mighty small Halibut Son , My grand daddy always said never trust anything you can blind fold with a shoe lace , they should have dropped more to save our Oceans !
When my brother came back from the sea, he always got some flat fish like this. And I actually cooked it sweet and sour most of time. 😂 Sometimes, I steamed it. I never tried to make it like this. 😅
Is this a flatfish, not a flatfish? !! It's hard to believe suddenly! !! For the first time in my life, I saw such a big flounder with a brittle body! !! The taste of flatfish is pale, but if it is delicate and sashimi, it is so exquisite that it surpasses Toro, Kawahagi, and Nodoguro, so I hope you will enjoy it!
Caracaaaaa, não sei como não tinha achado esse canal antes, meu deus, pela qualidade dos vídeos até parece vídeo gringo, pensei até que era canal gringo, parabénssssss!!!!! Agora vou assistir todosssss os seus vídeos.
Great presentation. For your information most wild seafood should be frozen prior to eating raw. Maybe that's farmed 'Halibut'. Its actually a sole/flounder. Non-frozen wild raw halibut carries parasites. Guaranteed!
I wouldnt eat halibut sashimi ever! They lay in the ground and worms live in them you can pick them out of the belly fat. Halibut is good but its the pig of the sea. Scrub it all you want it will still give u worms. Eat salmon or tuna sashimi only.
I just love how much in-depth information the narrator gives us on filet technique and in-depth info on the equip used...I love how they give the Sushi masters credit for his/her talent and where I can go and buy this product at the restaurant.
Relax, and just watch. Anonymity is a virtue here in Japan.

Seriously I don't think this guy left a single piece of meat on the fish. Incredible fileting
Horrendously painful trying to watch this man fillet that fish
@@jaykilllzit3848 because of the method they used or because you don't eat fish and do not approve of other people eating fish??
You have been working at the Chinese Buffet all along? 12 yrs of experience.............
You can tell that this chef loves cooking. He flows naturally in the kitchen, his precision is amazing, he makes you want to watch his videos over, and over, and over Again.
And he’s a clean chef. He takes care of the food

Amazing work.
The chef is a surgeon, beautiful work, nothing wasted.

Yh3
Slow as molasses
Lol treating with respect😂 what kind of comment is this
Extreme skill with knife and care with fish. Congratulations.
Of all the fish to fillet, halibut and other flatfish is perhaps one of the most satisfying
Why do I like watching these sashimi videos
Although I do not eat sashimi, this made me feel like I want to try at least once... So so so beautiful and tempting!!
For someone who doesn't know, some people eat raw beef and raw pork, yes raw pork (in German it's called 'Mett'). As long as they're safe to eat, then there's nothing wrong with eating raw meat. Have a nice day.

I enjoyed the elegance in using the knife, and the sensation of respect during cutting and turning and cooking the fish......thanks
Patience and perfection.
AWESOME how he filets that flounder as I call in New Orleans.
BEAUTIFUL VIDEO. Down here they bake the whole fish. THAT LOOKS AMAZING
THANKS
Errol Noble Sr bake the whole thing? I’ve fished halibut my whole life. Never heard of that
I love flounder steam or fried it's is so good 👍🇯🇲
Flounder is a joke compared to halibut, I can guarantee if you try halibut you will never want flounder again.
God, I love Okinawa. I remember dishes like this when I was a child.
Это искусство разделки рыбы, да и не только!!! Высший класс!!!
Wow the way he separated the spine, not a morsel wasted. Bravo!!!👏
Terimakasih. Sudah mau berbagi ilmu nya. Sukses terus..

But in kindergarten they can't hold a knife

Soooooooo fresh wow! Handled with so much care,,!!!!!
*I enjoy watching the surgicial precision with the knife.*
It's nice to see someone with a sharp knife and not a hacksaw
I only watch anatomy. Pase cooking part.
i guess almost japanese hobby fisher can cook this.
me too +++
I like the fact they can make 337 dishes out of 1 fish😂😂😂
Natalie Harris same here because it helps me filet the fish I catch but taking out the squid from it stomach then eating it is nasty as fuck. Is there anything they won’t eat?
Thank you for posting a video. It was fun to watch.
This might just be the cleanest filet job I've ever seen. Great work!
I love flounder,I get the guy's a the market to clean and fillet it,but after watching I can do it myself. Thanks!
2:50 That stream of water is the most peaceful thing I’ve seen in my entire life
Such precision with a knife!
The last dish that's a work of art.

I see skill. Beautiful! Bravo!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
meticulous presentation worthy of such a luxurious fish

Ну ты держись там. )
Да вы жируете, рыбу едите) мы бигус и перловку только видели)
Всем привет))! Да бигус это шедевр был)). Но сырого палтуса есть, всё таки кажется опасно.
Great fish

An applause for the camera man. Thanks to him/her We enjoyed such a filleting
That little flounder-shaped hashi stand is adorable and I want one!
Very satisfying knife skills
Halibut is that one friend that just eats a lot but can never seem to gain weight
The way he slices it are very nice
This is so satisfying

I enjoyed this autopsy...
Excellent video
Sashimi Master. Amazing skill this person has. Thank you
This man is the best
I love seafood👨🍳👨🍳👨🍳
This is why his food probably costs $500 to eat here. It takes him an hour to filet one fish.
Thumbs up for this awesome video
Great cutting skills 👌

The bottom of those pans, with teflon-coating definitely scratched, is one of the most terrifying detail for the health of unlucky customers…
Super cutting fish like an art

12 min to fillet a flounder, world guinness record
Magnetic filleting what a pro
Subhanallah, ada ikan seperti itu
And now for my next trick... A squid!
this guy definitely loves his job
Finally a fish cutting video which is not 8 years old lol.
smashtimate there're quite a few Japanese RUclipsr who does this, whether or not you'll find them "inhumane" or "gross" is another issue.
Whoever filleted that fish took a great deal of care and effort doing it
There's so much going on inside the fish considering it is so flat 😂
morryyy they’re strong, powerful too!!

Yeah. A squid lived inside it too
