It's funny how TAS makes an absolute joke of it but I still loved the game from the bottom of my heart. Like if you think this game needs to be remastered with the 3ds

Route idea: 1-1 1-2 SE (stands for Secret Exit) 1-Castle SE (get Blue Shell from 1-2 RNG) 1-Cannon 5-1 5-2 SE 5-3 5-B SE 5-Cannon All of World 8 Then after defeating Bowser, open all the other worlds.
I didn’t understand why we didn’t have a 100% tas of this game in 2022 but only a old WIP… this is the only new super mario bros of new super mario bros series with original music/sound asset ext…and minigames. Yes other are only clones of the wii version sound, music ext… it’s not exactly that but the first nsmb is very different, and paratroopa shell !
Getting the Blue Shell in the pink roulette block is completely RNG based. Seriousl. I was doing a speedrun and I had to reset my DS twice just to get the Blue Shell to spawn conveniently at 1-2.
I hope this is still being worked on, the movement and in-level routing is just incredible to watch. I just question some of the overall map routing such as why don't you immediately complete world 8 in full and why you didn't go to world 4 after getting the mini mushroom and its star coin in 2-castle

Ronan Sean He’s not cheating, he’s using TAS software which allows him to input any buttons on any frame he wants, I’ll give it to ya though it sure does look like cheating :)
I think the duck-moving is just extremly fast button inputs but i have no idea. It's just what wouls make sense to me. And those weird wall jumps… idk, maybe glitched hitboxes bc of scrolling? Again, not an expert ^^

I don't quite get the scrolling...when do you scroll the screen and how does that help you go faster?
it can help with enemy spawning, to move an enemy that gets in the way of the route.
He also does it to go with the music at some points.

how do you do the double wall jump?
Ant84 you need to unmorph from the shell and jump when you y speed is exactly 0(when you are not moving up or down at all)
Frame perfect inputs it’s pretty damn hard but I bet dose could do it if he ran this game
