In the previous and next stages (2-4, 2-5), Shell is overwhelmingly faster than Fire, but I was wondering how long it would take to run 2-T in Shell. This is a TAS I made a long time ago. This stage requires Shell Mario to skip the stairs and to get a third Star Coin. Since there are two goals, it may be faster in total to get Star Coins in two steps.

I left the production of NSMB 100% TAS for about 4-5 years. There are some unpublished individual stage TAS left, so I will publish them while optimizing them.
