If you want to check your car power and driving skills then come to Matheran in monsoon season, specially in weekends. When you get bumper to bumper traffic jam on hair pin bend. Only taxi drivers of Maruti Echo are perfect.
@@ketankadam5669Doesn't matter, steep road is not the only thing, oxygen density kills engine power on higher altitude states like J&K, Uttarakhand and Himachal, the surface of the road would look smooth and flat and your vehicle can still refuse to pull, this happens a lot with my Nexon petrol, contrary to the popular belief, my NA cars perform better than turbo here.
I beleive hill hold feature help in to avoid nexon to roll down however could not get chance to take my car on high inclined.people who took it they get confirm. In this vedio it looks to be a smooth ride
It was smooth wait when you are stuck in traffic jam uphill bend it will go back every time.and then pull up, if tailgating vehicle is too close prepare to fight vehicle before you too close you will face problem i own DEISEL automatic Nexon horrible experience in a jam especially uphill with 40 deg gradient at Srisailam
@@anwarshaikh6605 thanks! I am yet to take my Tiago AMT to hill areas so wanted to know. Even in my office parking it rolls down In city/sports mode if there are vehicles ahead. Not sure how to deal with that.
How is the performance of amt.. Bhai me lene ki soch raha hu diesel amt.. Lag feel hota he gear change me ya nai.. By the way I m manual diesel driver.. If I buy this would be my first amt.. So let me know about this car pros and cons thanks
Today literally my car (Nexon AMT Top end XZA+) rolled down ! I was scared. Somehow I took a reverse and climbed with a good speed (i know I’m wrong! I’m a new driver). Can you help me how to overcome such scenarios in extreme sharp climbs??? You help going to be Highly appreciated
Hill assist feature will give few seconds to rev your car once you release brakes on slope. If it's not there use handbrake and rev the car gently, and then release the handbrake
@@MarathiManus09 yes definitely. I don't shift on manual on regular ghats. Only if the incline is high and we have to climb slow due to traffic or bad road conditions, shift on manual.
Driving skills are important, maintaining the engine momentum is important, if ECO and Maruti vans can do with the poorest engines, any car should be able to do unless you know how to drive.
They will never stop and kill the engine momentum (Popularly known as MAUSAM)... that's the secret of driving such a poor vehicle in such challenging terrain.
1. Novice driver 2. Killing the engine momentum on each turn and each train crossing 3. Many times you under turn or over turn 4. It was AMT so could climb, if it was manual, you would have never made it to the top and would have landed up overheating that engine or burning the clutch 5. Only one fault & blame goes to the car - AMT is pure faltoo real "Garibon Ka Automatic", dead sluggish in the gear shifts and wont downshifts to first gear until you are close to ZERO. When every eco was overtaking you, you should have learned from them how they maintain the momentum of the engine and the car... never stop is the key...you were crossing the train line and they zoomed away... THINK
Is there an eeco factory😄
a good quality video...

Even I experienced this, but the hill assist feature helps sometimes
Then how about driving in manual with an AMT ? I mean on gear 1.

Thanks perhaps if advice given whilst driving high hill would be useful information for first time driver,,🎉 Ambernath
Don't loose the momentum, many new drivers get scared on hairpins and kill the engine momentum. Even I did the same when I was new.

Nexon amt gear shift doesn't not have any lag. It's smooth but you will feel it because of automated manual transmission
Is it diesel? The turbo lag in Diesel Manual kills the engine on steep inclines. It also has a lag in Throttle input.
Yes
What about the A pillar? Is it too thick to create blind spot in ghat areas?
Yes it is one of the cons of Nexon

City or sports mode?
Manual mode
Depends on driving also 😂😂
Are you sure its matheran ghat and not maruti Eeco ghat? Every other car is maruti eeco. Damn 😂😂😂
The local taxis there are all eco
Pahli baar hills sir ??
Yes. First steep uphill experience
Is it a petrol or diesel ?
Diesel
So AMT not useful in Hills?
Nothing like that, amt has manual mode which can be used on high inclines. It will hold the lower gears
@@anwarshaikh6605 so in regular ghat section with not much inclination we can continue with AMT right?
