This thing is absolutely perfect. Sometimes I see smaller RVs that put too much things in it that you barely have any room to relax or sleep but this thing's perfect for a couple or maybe a small family of 3.
Really nice video, decent quality product from the looks of it too. Please remember too this compliment is coming from one of your competitors employees. you've done a good job, good competition is good for keeping the market place moving.
I absolutely LOVE it. My only ding to this model is that there isn't a second bedding area. Even like a singular bed for one person. This is definitely built for a couple or two people who don't mind sharing that cozy bed. The bathroom is Fantastic. The nice large refrigerator and kitchen area is superb.
LOVE the fact that it is a manual murphy bed....too many electronics that go bad....AWESOME that it is manual!!! Can the Day bed be ordered to be manual as well???
+Bully380 Well, for someone like myself, I look for something small in an RV because Im single, no GF or kids, so I don't need a big class A or C. Hurricane Sandy taught me that its necessary to have a "Bugout vehicle" for when the SHTF! Plus, smaller RV's get much better gas mileage when touring around the Country! A 75lb propane tank is ideal for boondocking. A tank that size would last me for MONTHS before I'd have to refill it!
Beautiful van!! Good tour showed everything. Would have liked to have seen the shower fixture clearly though. This is the van I will buy when I have enough money.
I really have to agree with David. Fantastic job on the review. Love the size and the versatility of the Plateau XL. Going to have to find one close by and give it a look in person. thanks guys.
FINALLY someone is using solar on the roof to keep the battery charged. I dont know about in the US much but here in Australia it makes perfect sense, you are going to be traveling round Australia when its sunny basically all the time so makes sense to have solar rather than waste fuel, all they need is to add the option of a solar charged electric generator :D then they would be set. Great vehicle :D the only thing I wonder if you have a power socket and space for a CPAP breathing machine?
Mr Dean Rumples(?), I have a suggestion; the single most limiting factor in all RVs is the kitchen sink. Even in my 32'er the dual sink is lacking in functionality. Plus, I'm one of those growing numbers of folks that use paper place settings as little as possible. That means washing dishes is a standard chore just as at home. Last year I bought a countertop dishwasher for my home. They are about the size of a large microwave and have a 4 person setting capacity. MIne uses only 3 gallons for the long cycle. I seriously thinking of buying another for my RV. If Pleasure-Way were to offer an option such as this I'd bet you'd be surprised to the reception. Great coaches!
I have to say this is one of the most comprehensive and well done product reviews I have seen. Great job. Do you have HP and toque numbers for the engine?
Hi David Scott, thanks for your comment! If you look in the info section below the video you will find a link that takes you to the 2015 Plateau XL page on our website. There you will find all the specifications for the motorhome including HP and torque rating. All other features, weights and measures are listed there as well. Thanks Again!
Cool motorhome. Not too big, not too small. Very good interior design. I'd rank that design "excellent" if there were more captains' chairs. They're more comfortable for sitting back while one-the-move than sofas that lack back-and-neck support.
You hit the mark on this. Our dream is to tour the country and this Wold be just the ticket: small, efficient and maneuverable Good job? Where are they available .
Hi Deb Nichols, thanks for your interest in our motorhome! If you visit the dealer locator page on our website: pleasureway.com/locate-dealer/ you will be able to find information on your nearest Pleasure-Way dealer.
Excellent vehicle.. probably one of the best I've seen for possible solo use. However, having the couch turn into a bed, but then having a proper bed come down on top of it seems rather silly. Why not get rid of the main wall bed (just keeping the couch as the bed) and utilise the wall space for extra storage? Still a great rig though.
There are some people with back problems and they find sleeper couches very uncomfortable. My mom would love this feature since she has chronic back problems. Still, this brand's design team is clever. I never thought of using the space behind the couch for a folding bed.
That bathroom is AMAZING!!!! I love, love, love it! That's so much better than a wet bath especially if you want to use a composting toilet that you don't want to get wet. The Murphy bed is amazing too. So much easier and I love that it is manual. I had a question about the overhead cabinet storage. How much weight can they hold? Could I put cast iron pots up there? I don't know if they would fit in the cabinets that are closer to the ground. Thanks for putting together this excellent video. I really appreciate the test drive too at the end. What a great product! Well done! :)
Hi Jennifer Heredia, thanks for your comments. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the video! To answer your question, all the overhead cabinets in the RV are built very strong. They are anchored to wall blocking with screws and fastened together using steel angle brackets. So, for example, the cabinet above the kitchen area could easily support 150 Lbs. You would have no problem storing your cast iron pots up there.
Hello, the occupant and cargo carrying capacity has varied from year to year. Currently, the 2017 Plateau XL has an OCCC range of 1280 - 1380 lbs. This will depend on what solar panel option is chosen, as you can add up to five panels on the Plateau XL. Hope that helps, thank you!

The bathroom for me, is the eye-catcher. The kitchen area is great. Lots of TV, water, all your needs. Beautiful motorhome.

brilliant floor plane and bed, very spacious.

Very impressive!
75lb propane tank? Holy cow, you sold me on this Rv with that feature alone! Very impressive for 22.9'...Cheers!
+roberto abrams why does that make a difference just wondering...what should one look for when looking for a small rv like this

It's really cool, now can you make it perfectly off-grid?

+Pleasure-Way Motorhomes I gotta agree with them. You actually did do a good job. And generally I ain't easy to impress.
Awesome RV and excellent presentation! Thank you.
I want to win the lottery so I can have one of these!

Like, but minimal windows. When seated on couch, I like to be able to see outside (other than just out windshield).
Outdoor TV and speakers are great until you're the guy next to him at the campground.
That's ideal for me
Классная машина😀👍👍👍
