I definitely have alot sitting around. I don't post because I didn't think ppl would be as interested in dissecting songs and musical production as I am. I honestly wasn't the biggest fan of this song besides the "Finally Karen" version until I broke down the vocals. Now I'm hooked, lol.
@@TheVoiceChannrlOfficial same in that 4 part harmony and the blend throughout the song jus got me like woahhhhh❗️ and also because they rarely do 4 part harmony so it’s something fresh to hear
I always wondered if the reason for there not being a soprano part at the very ends was because they took Denise's vocals off the track or they had redone it without her. It's just seems to be a shift at the end missing because of that missing part. I also feel like this sing needed an additional 30 secs cause in the fading out, Karen was about the take us there
Denise didn't sing on the album version, but she sung it live with them a few times. Twinkie probably didn't feel the need to have a soprano part since Karen was leading out the end. Or it could've been for other creative reasons.
@@TheVoiceChannrlOfficial and also if you think about it dorinda and Jackys part differ in a way they sing the same note on “Jesus is a love song love song” but on the last song u can hear dorinda go up on song and Jacky stay down snd then there’s 3 part but I get what the person is saying
@@reggiemitchell5198 Yes, I've always loved that it thought it was unique. But when Donald rearranged it for "Finally Karen", it made since to have alto and tenor parts in the beginning of the vamp. Andvhis arrangement on the end sealed it for me. To your point Randal, there's was a second part of the ending vamp. It says: "Jesus is love song, love song- I love the name' It fades out right before Karens begins to go in.
@@TheVoiceChannrlOfficial yes and I can hear them actaully doing 3 part harmony with dorinda on top Jacky in middle and Twinkie on button and they modulate. They did it like that live in the 80s as well. Jr just not on the album version since the top note was Denise’s psrt
LEGENDS! If you’re a singer, don’t matter what genre. And you haven’t studied The Clark Sisters or other past music… You’re limiting yourself.
GREAT singers !!!
The 4 part harmony on it lifts me tho😍😍
JUST PHENOMENALLY BEAUTIFUL!!!
PURE TALENT!!!!! UNTOUCHABLE !!!
Please do more a cappella, isolated vocals of the sisters

Do you have I’m Encouraged or Cast Your Cares ?? The harmonies in those two songs I know for sure are IMMACULATE acapella 😭
I think I do. I've had those for a while now, I just didn't think anyone cared. "Cast Your Cares" isn't as clear though.
@@TheVoiceChannrlOfficial PLEASE POST both soon clear or not 🥺😭
