@@mopmanfloyd8308​​⁠​​⁠​⁠ It’s him. Gewirtz was a promo writer for Rock then got hired on by the company after Russo left for WCW in late 1999. Patrice was hired the following year in 2000, and his account of Gewirtz lines up with stories Austin told about coming back from neck surgery (some new hot shot in Vince’s ear he didn’t like). Gewirtz confirmed Austin’s comments were directed at him.
