I was at this concert and remember every bit of it. Never, as a 21 year old kid, would I think 46 year old me would be trippin' down memory lane watching this on something called RUclips. Give me my 1982 Chevy Celebrity back and my dial up Internet. I'll relive these days in a heartbeat.
1999 was the end of an era for humanity. I miss those days. I miss this sound, I miss these shows, I miss the innocence of the world before social media and nonstop news. These videos... These videos bring me back, and for that, I thank you, Copperpot!
Yes!! I always say that was them at their peak and I'm so appreciative that I was able to experience them at their absolute best! Oh, the good ol days lol.
Holy crap. Wow, this is the first concert I ever went to. My parents brought me with my aunt and we sat to the left of the stage. Man. Carter is the reason I chose drums as my instrument in school band, after seeing him that night. I am still playing too, my band is going to Europe next month… I’ll never forget that particular smell either LOL. “The nose knows...” Cheers DMB, thanks for changing my life that night!🤙
Thank you Copperpot!! Béla and Santana guesting in the same show, even at the same time??? WOW! I wish they’d release this one as a Live Trax. And release more of the Live Trax on Spotify.
It's funny because I didn't notice the multiple drummers at first and thought Carter was just being Carter and sounding like an entire band of percussionists all by himself! 😂
Not trying to be rude... But did you mean to put Band at the end of your sentence? I see it as the whole band that puts smiles on my face, not just... Dave Matthews. I tend to see a lot of people, forget?, to type band at the end. Makes me feel bad for the other band members in the long run.
Lol someone disliked this? I'm not trying to be annoying or bothersome at all but I wonder if they just go to every Dave Matthews Band video and dislike, or I'd like to know the reason that they did dislike it. In all seriousness...
A lot of people, especially on mobile accidentally hit the button. I know I have with some of my favorite creators. It’s unfortunate, but it helps me sleep thinking all the dislikes are accidental
Wow, this is the early days of JTR when they still had the "John the Revelator" lines in it (and apparently called it Rain Down On Me... or is it just misnamed in this video?)

Bela on #41…just wow
Caught Bela playing live not long before the Covid and the man is still utterly amazing.
Carter's Hi-Hats and snare sound so good in this recording
Those coffee ring banners are sweet. It's always a joy seeing the band at their peak.
This rendition of Lie in Our Graves is one of my favorites.
Miss these days!!!
Listening at work but not watching. Here some guitar in rain on me. check video----whoa! Santana. Then see the 20 drummers.... wow.

I miss LBV!!!
Smiles, smiles, smiles you put on my face Dave Matthews

@@DMBever 😁
@@annaappleby7192 haha, thanks for making me smile. Usually I see people being rude on here when I say something like that.
Always a pleasure to hear and see your vids...thanks
Like it was yesterday. Thanks again.
This is awesome.
Great job! So appreciated 👍🏻
Man this show feels good😌
Thank you Jason!
Thanks for posting, really appreciate it!
Wow
I love Rashawn, Buddy and Jeff but I miss their sound with Leroi and Boyd, not to mention Bela in this case

Yes, it was called “Rain down on me” and played in that style only 3 times. All 3 times in May of 1999.
Nice "Pick Up the Pieces" riff at the tail end as well - took me a while to place it!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Dave and Carlos co-write this song?
Why is Boyd standing in front of Bela on love of my life? Hilarious, what a weirdo. And his violin is muted basically 😆😆😆
