I've been listening to this band for 38 years and I still discover new mixes of their songs that are just as unique and original as the originals.
I knew peter Murphy in a small period of time shortly after i came home from the Vietnam war.. i remember this version of bld.. it struck as if they were going further then everyone else at that time..i miss his an the bands company alot these days.. something to be said of forgotten lives..if you see this peter i hope your well.. MB

I'm also 70 last week to be precise,I was lucky to see Bauhaus 3 times,they were and are a great band always challenging the listener never repeat themselves,here I am all thus time still listening to them ,hopefully next time they do some dates hopefully I'll get tickets for them,bands this good only come around once in a lifetime and need celebrating,❤
Are you saying that in addition to discovering this band, you are also getting into metal? Or were you saying that this is metal? Because listening to this kind of music would have gotten you beat up by metal-heads in the 80s, so definitely not metal.

i love this group. i'm 44 and only discovered them when was 16. being in communist state was not to easy to reach alternative music, but me and my crowd was curies all the time . for young one - treasure what you get today as tomorrow you could be bare ass walking ....

hi bauhaus this is a very excellent minimal style lo fi 80s record -maybe tape? theres a few others like this and not many remember the world pre net and cds along with pro tools - your early stuff gets more popular every day

I like this better than their releases, IMO. Lugosi leads, as it should.
But this is the weaker, Tomb Raider, version of Bela Lugosi's Dead.... Why not the original?
