Nice video. 1 comment... You should actually wait for at least 12 to 24 hours without water contact. You apply the product and rins it off directly. That is what makes it work less and not very long. That is what Soft99 says and what they are advising to do.
Awesome, thanks for the tip! It has been almost four months now and still beads like nuts 😄
@@matthewtong123 lol maybe Soft99 is wrong. 4 months is a good amount of time I think. They've got a lot of labels that says 12 months or 7 months. I doubt a lot of them. 12 months is a lot of time for a wax coating for example. So if we can get 4 to 6 months out of it it is awesome in my opinion. These soft99 products are fairly simple to apply , yet they offer a professional quality and a professional amount of time of your car being protected. I really love this company and its prices. We get a lot for little money. I think it is going to rain in The Netherlands within a few hours from now. Maybe I'll film my car and put it on RUclips. It beats the hell out of the rain I can tell you 🤣
12 to 24 hours is for fluorine or nanotechnology based glass coating, for these silicone type, no cure time is needed after buffing off.
The 12 hour curing time only applies to the Glaco Ultra glass coat. He was using the Glaco Roll On Max which requires no curing time. Glaco Ultra last longer
Very good review man, great product! Looking forward to more vids
Can u do more vids on car detailing like when to wash a car which products and all like how many times do we need to wash
Sure thing! Thanks for the recommendation 🤗
its advice to wash a car once a week. there's a lot of products out there like meguair, turtle wax, carpro, osren etc to wash a car. i highly recommend a two bucket washing system with a grit guard on each bucket. top to bottom method. good luck
Whenever it's dirty n after rain n slush, I usually wiped or rinse the door handles after each drive, hygiene reasons.
M A T T H E W ! Nice video man, can't wait for more
Rear 3 quarter glass deserves some love too 🥺
Hi boss hahahah nice spot 😆 I used Rain-X on them off camera 🤭
@@matthewtong123 I'm all about the details 👀🤭
Nice video.. Hope next u can make car polishing video
wow learned something new today!

Looks effortless and better compared to cleaning the windscreen with vinegar and then applying rain repellant.. how long does the glaco last?
Yeah the application for this is easier cos of the felt padding. No idea about durability, but I’ll update!
@@matthewtong123 yeah man...looking forward. Btw, my usual vinegar + rain x (single coat) lasts almost two months...would like to know how long glaco will last. 🙂
Thank you brother
Noice!! Lazada here I come
Hello may I know what's the name of the glass polish product?
Hi! It’s called the Soft99 Glaco Glass Compound Roll On. :)
I've done this one on my car but when I use the wipers the fluid dries so slow...anyone know why? Before that it would quickly dry up and no smears
do u need to squeeze the product out polish/coating the entire time your applying?
Thank you from Rome - Italy. One question: before I use the first product does the glass have to be perfectly clean? I washed it with a shampoo but there are some stubborn insect spots.
The first product (glass compound) should be able to remove stubborn insect spots, so to answer your question, it probably doesn’t have to be 100% clean, since you’re applying the slightly abrasive compound to clean anyway. Hope that helps!
Is rear side windows necessarily to do coating for driver to actually hv advantage of it having clearer window?
Yeah, the hydrophobic property greatly improves visibility during thunderstorms, making it much safer for the driver.
Hi. Why you didn't use Glass Refresh from the same brand?
Hi! I wasn't aware of such a product at the time, hahah!

Nice Video bro
Oh man I really need to clean my glass. They're doing the opposite of beading at this point
I wonder if coating the windshield with glaco will have any effect on the wipers (currently using PIAA with natural water repelling effect)? Just curious if the wipers will streak or judder when coming in contact with the glaco silicone
Hi! Unfortunately I can't answer that because I use standard rubber wipers hahah. But if your wipers already provide water repellency, you probably don't need glaco :)
@@matthewtong123 yea, mainly because the areas outside the wiper will have watermarks since the wipers cannot reach there
Where to get this? Can recommend where to buy? And what cloth to use? Thank you.
your clothes :*
Shopee or Lazada only bro 😁 and any decent microfibre cloth will do!
loser
Gorgeous!!! Where to get these??
Shopee or Lazada, choose your new best friend hahahah
One question.
Is it not advisable to use your wipers after you applied Glaco?
Nah man, you can most certainly use your wipers after application. No prob!
@@matthewtong123thanks! Very informative. Gonna use it for my car.
How frequently do we need to apply the coating?
I haven’t tested durability, but the more you use your wipers, the sooner you’ll have to reapply hahah. But generally these coatings go between 3-6 months in our kind of weather
does the glaco compound remove watermarks also?
It does but only slightly. It's not as effective as a dedicated glass polish though :/
@@matthewtong123 alright man thanks for the info. more vids to watch.
@@matthewtong123 because you have to press and polish more than in your video! and you can use a bit water to polish its easier
Hey Matthew, have you experienced slight hazing after using your wipers under the rain with the glaco coating on?
Hi Alex, no I've not experienced hazing at all, actually. Does it only appear when you use your wipers?
@@matthewtong123 yup when i use the wipers / wipe using a clean cloth. only for a split second tho
This is what happens when use this Glaco product. I had it on all my windows on my last two cars i got.
After using wipers its hazy for about 2seconds. Its a big safety risk and really annoying, thats why i dont use this product anymore.
@@lauristahl1884 good to know im not the only one experiencing this, thanks for sharing.
@@golfcoins should check your wiper blade. I've experienced before, change to a new one, prob solve. just realize my old one haven't change for years..
you use it wrong^^ you have to wait 5-10min before clean it up and you have to wait 12-24h before you can make water on it and why do you not degrease the windows? read the description!
Not in this 1 only on the flaco soft 99
Don't need to let this one cure
Link to products?
I've added the link!
can remove watermark?
Hi, you’ll need a glass polish to remove watermarks more effectively. This only removes oil films or existing coating :)
which is better glaco o rain-X.
Glaco doesn’t cause the wipers the judder for me. In terms of repellency, both are quite close. I like the Glaco better :)
so water does stay on the glass - what a crap!
