    0:32 If he went into cardiac arrest and his heart stopped, its fasle to say that the CPR didnt work. A defib doesnt start the heart..

    • @tannertoejam2196
      @tannertoejam2196 3 года назад +1

      Cpr keeps blood circulating to the brain while the heart is shocked back into a more normal rhythm. Aeds don't start the heart but more or less "reset" it

    Played hockey for 12 years, a family member of mine who was at the rink is a nurse. She’s had to help a lot of kids recently during a tournament. One guy broke a vertebrae. I’m convinced she likely saved him from a good amount of nerve damage, as the opposing team wanted to move him off the ice. She said absolutely not, and helped him until the ambulance got there.
    The day after, before a game I was playing in had begun, a kid had gotten injured in the game previous. She went out to help him out. It was funny because I was going out to the rink to see how much time we had left, and stumbled upon her coming through the door with the guy saying “yup, you’re done for now.”
