  • A Volcano Hypselodoris (Hypselodoris Krakatoa) in Exmouth Gulf (Western Australia) in a raised sensory posture showing its rhinophores (the key sensory organs on top of its head - they look like antennae) to “smelling” chemical cues in the water column. The smells may be from predators, potential food, or other nudibranchs. At about the 0.05 mark in the video the nudibranch lifts its head and you can see its mouth (upside down “U’ shape structure) with oral tentacles immediately above 😊
