  • Settings are at the end of the video. This gameplay is with the Longbow while focusing on ADS speed and having a 2.5x Scope (no glint).
    Hope you enjoy.

I'm a Gyro Aim believer now after seeing your videos. Too bad Xbox doesn't have a Gyro controller yet, it's coming soon though from what I've been hearing and this is getting me hyped for it.

Youre a joy to watch. Ive been using gyro for a while but I havent introduced flick stick yet, do you have any tips on how to adjust to leaving the right analog alone for aiming?

Honestly, just lots of experience. Over time, Ive just adapted to utilizing Ratcheting (my touchpad is used for this) and keeping my thumb over the face buttons. I kinda just forced myself to do more drop shotting, bunny hopping, or other movements while still trying to aim and shoot.
One thing that really helps is slowly getting your sensitivity higher so you can operate at a fuller range of motion.
For example, my Sensitivity on its high end is 6.75. This translates to me making a 30 deg turn with my controller to my aim doing a 200 degree turn. So then I can manage full 180s in ugly, close range fights if needed while maintaining tracking of the enemy yet im still very comfortable with my controller making minimal physical movements.
Yet with Acceleration, my Sensitivity at its low end is about 3.25. So slower, longer range movements still feel fairly steady to me.
Flick Stick becomes more situational during combat and/or for general macro movements when outside of combat (like when traversing larger maps in Warzone). I absolutely love it it in zombies cuz I can run away then do very fast 180s to pop a few shots then 180 again to run away.
But overall, i would say its experience. For me, trying to go back to traditional right stick movements is weird as hell lol. I suck now with that style and legit takes me a couple days to readapt.

@@BJgobbleDix Thanks a lot for your reply. Could you please tell me what Acceleration is?

What are your gyro steadying options set to?

10:52 are my settings. Due to the way Threshold and Steadying are designed, mine is treated more as "Acceleration." So from Degrees per Second (0 to 65), my Sensitivity is about 3.5 - 6.75 for X axis.
Initial Threshold is at .5 which cuts my Sensitivity in half as a starting point. Its a workaround to getting Acceleration but its at the cost of losing Threshold. Would be nice if the devs implemented Acceleration as its own setting because I would further tune Threshold to be 2.5 degress/second to cut out minor jitters from when I push buttons.
The other factor is that with this bit higher Sensitivity, I notice "recentering" issues from time to time when Im trying to make slower, more precise movements. So the game may sometimes fight my aim a tad. Not often Im in these situations luckily. But it can be annoying when trying to track somebody from far away while ADS'ing. The higher the Sensitivity, the more prevalent the recentering becomes. So right now, the 6.75 cap is what feels like the best compromise for me.

I’m having trouble figuring out if you are using flick stick. Maybe you increased the turn time so it’s not as disorienting? That’s what I’ve been doing.

Yes I use Flick Stick. I dont use it if Im ADS or usually, actively shooting and fighting UNLESS I need to do a 180 at that instant. So in matches like this, I am more commonly using ratcheting.
But anywhere you see near instant turns (typically about 90 or 180 degree intervals), thats where Im using it.
A good example is I would use Flick Stick a LOT in Zombies mode. Especially when Im running from a group of them and then need to do a 180 to quickly blast them then 180 again to start running.
When you get comfortable with Ratcheting, you may find yourself using Flick Stick more for situationual purposes--another example is when I jump off a roof or over someone, I will 180 to get them back on my screen.
