So ? You guys can start your own channels, and make interesting vids. If you're entertaining enough, arma or team associated, or red cat or kyosha or even Traxxas may start sending you stuff. Really comes across as sour grapes. He works hard, makes fun videos, and his joy comes across, hence all the subs. Don't hate, levitate yourself. If you can't figure out how to do that, maybe buy a drone or copter. They have cameras built in, and then you're off and running.

It is true that he seems to be paid by a company to show their products. That is nothing wrong with it, but it can get boring, and unrealistic. Most people identify with some contect creators because they can identify and MSM is one of those that has the followers and recognition to contribute more than just "buy" new cars every few days, specially for newcomers. But, is also true that he is the owner of his content and can do whatever he likes.
I'm impressed, that is a very well balanced trailer for an RC. Most end up nose heavy making the RC look like a Caralina Squatted truck. Nice update to their boat line. Looks like Traxxas has been spending a lot of money in their R&D department to have so many new products launch lately.
The thing about watching anything on You Tube is you can watch whatever you want & skip whatever you don’t like. It almost doesn’t make any sense to complain about simple content like RC stuff. Everyone has different views & we have to respect peoples opinions but we can also just not even acknowledge or think about someone’s comments it’s all good. I watch videos & subscribe to channels but don’t watch every video sometimes I’m just not interested in the current subjects it’s like watching tv you do t like something you just change the channel but can return back to that show when something more interesting to you is going on. But I wouldn’t bother posting negative hater type comments just because someone is doing what they want & have placed themselves in a position they can afford to buy the things they want. I’ve actually slowed down buying RTR RC’s because you just don’t have time to drive them & enjoy them I’ve been upgrading my existing RC’s & improving & redoing some of them. But to each his own. 👍

The outboard motors are popular with RC crawlers. Furiteck makes a bunch and guys that run competition style crawlers like the VDR carbon with the stubby kit run outboard motors as well
Yes, I think It's the same as on RC cars. The Throttle will be limited to 50% power so you will notice when the Low voltage mode goes in. The ESC should have low voltage detection for the Li-Po just like it does on the RC cars.

Outrunner motor it’s called an outrunner motor. It’s weighted. The centrifugal force from the weight makes it self right. I have a pro boat recoil 2 18inch works the same way but anyway that things pretty sick probably gonna get one I live in ocean city md and I could definitely see some jumping waves in my future lol
The other thing is, the new traxxas boat when you do the self riding feature when you hit a wave, you can probably do a corkscrew You should try that ✌️and stay safe
The Proboat Recoil 2 has been out for a good while. Looks exactly the same with the outrunner brushless motor with self righting. However the esc and receiver corroded on me :( To make matters worse if you put a larger battery in it it will list to one side. I used the trim tabs to correct it and then it ran great on 4S 5000mah.
You do have to grease the flex shaft every run to prevent damage, so you do need a fair amount of grease. That being said, one tube of marine grease from a big box store lasts FOREVER
Dam it's been awhile since I've gotten any new rc. Miss the fresh smell. I'm thinking of getting a RC jet or plane. This boat is nice, but it's about to start snowing here in Utah already down to 50s 🥶

I wanted to get a m41 for a while to go with my trailer and TFL genesis. But loading the boat is a bit of a challenge in my car if I’m also bringing RC cars, so I might just pick up one of these. It’s only $50 to get this and the trailer vs just the m41.
I have had boats in the past with a weight on the motor that's nothing new. Be aware That only works when there is some juice left in the battery will not self right when it's low
Finally an actually "new" traxxas thats mot a parts bin rehash of an old platform and it's basically a rip off of the proboat recoil 2. Its even the same size. 🤣
