The ends of the screen go INSIDE the sheet metal separator. And the screen goes on the bottom of the assembly, not the top. Not that it really matters...

if you watched the video, the screen was too short to go around the outside or the retainer. i used what i had to get the job done. i did not have another screen available.

I guess those S&S reed style breathers can be used in a Knucklehead motor even though they (S&S) say differently on their website?

who knows. i have used them and it worked for me. some customers say they don't work as good as the stock ones and others say their is no difference. your call.
