I have resisted watching this for a long time. I am generally not very kind to 'gimmick' singers. I know I'm not being very kind. It's just that I'm kind of a snob when it comes to this kind of thing. Oh great now I'm being mean to this poor schlub.(Not derogatory at all it means bad things happened to him not of his own making, or someone who can't catch a break.) If anything it reflects badly on me for being petty. Anyway, I am so sorry but this didn't change mind. I thought he sang well enough with just his main voice to move on. I think it sets him up too much for people to expect that every time. So what happens when he starts singing again and they count him down because he didn't sing with his girly voice. The reason Dimash is different is that all of his talents he will rip out at any given time so it is always there. Marcelito uses his very specifically so when he doesn't but you think he should then unspoken expectations are hard to get past. So there it is. Now you know why I was loathe to comment on his performance.i knew I was going to be mean, and I was correct.
I hope you will forgive my less than supportive evaluation of your countryman. But it wouldn't have mattered if he was my best friend I would have tried to talk him out of it. Now you know why I don't have any friends. It's hard to take criticism from someone who possesses no talent in his person. But there it is. Until the next time.
