But if you have gold trimmed dishes they cannot be used in microwave. My daughter-in-law got me a mug that has the gold trim and it says not to place in microwave or dishwasher.
And last Christmas my daughter had lovely PAPER plates with a gold trim and our son placed it in the microwave and it started 'arching', I think is the right word. Smoke and mini-fireworks.
Hi Danni! That beautiful bird is an African gray parrot. I know you knew it was an African gray. I have a real one. Her name is Cookie. I love her so much! She talks a lot. She calls my dog Max and drives him crazy because she imitates my voice so he goes to me thinking that I'm the one that called him. 😊 I just wanted to share that. Thank you for this nice haul. Yeah, I agree those clear blocks are for risers for like wedding displays or events and even buffets. There are many uses for those. They can either be displayed as is or you put them out on the table in different levels, and then you can drape some kind of cloth over the top to cover them up. If I was doing a wedding I would’ve bought those. I bet that’s what happens after somebody’s wedding they drop them off at the donation center.
The acrylic blocks were display risers. I would have bought them all!😂

I have that sleeping in Mexican ceramic guy. They’re quite saturated. My mom is downsizing her southwestern stuff and I looked him up. He doesn’t go for much and you can buy a lot of them.

Here in Australia our thrift shops are usually closed by 4:00, and some don’t open on the weekends. Your shops are enormous compared to the ones here. I enjoy your thrifting, I am always amazed at how much product your stores have. I have travelled to the USA and visited Las Vegas but never got to the thrift shops .
Lenox still uses real gold on their formal dinnerware.

Those clear acrylic pieces would make great shelf risers to display items behind other items on the shelf.
I love that blue candle stick. That kind of height I put one on my fireplace mantle. That would be super cool. Or if you had a shelf that was deep enough just put it in there and decorate around it with books and stuff.

African Grey’s are great birds and they sound just like a person when they talk. I miss my beautiful African Grey!
I'm 75, so my experience comes from the "olden days", and may not apply to current availability. Our Rodent waterers were a black rubber plug with a metal tube. If you wanted a larger bottle you found a glass bottle that fit the plug. Many times, it was easy to find one in lab glass supplies. (Test tubes, beakers that sort of thing) Lab glass is tougher stuff and safer. OR you can increase the number of bottles in the cage. Thankyou for taking good care of the squeakers!

I’m going to be Thrifting in Vegas around the 11th and 12th of October
I had guinea pigs, and learned that after I filled the bottle, and screwed on the lid, I put my finger over the water spout, and then turned it upside down (which would be right side up to hang). The water pressure sent a few bubbles up and then no leaking. I used Kaytee glass bottles
Glass bottles is a yes. Your right we had to seal our leakage in the same way. Also she should check rim any dent will cause a leak or if they chewed on it.

I got a baggie of glass elephants. 4 out of 7 were damaged BUT there was no glass or pieces in the baggie. They were damaged before they put them in the bags. BTW, I found the most amazing uranium frog at the flea market. It was brightly glowing under blacklight in the noon sun.
