I agree with your pour it in theory and generally that's how I putt. But was playing a scramble with 3 other people and we had several putts that would wobble when they got near the hole. After watching 3 putts wobble and miss I played the 4th putt with less brake and more speed. It worked 3 or 4 times. But playing my own ball by myself I might not know to do that.
Steve thanks just ordered the dead aim using your promo code, got £2 off. More importantly your description on what type of putter are you might just be invaluable. Love to see someone like myself changing from imperial to metric measurements on the hoof, I’m not all alone!!
Well, I bought one, but I'm thinking why not just use the putter shaft to extend the line on your ball to the target like I always have done? Something similar on amazon for less than £3 anyway!
Hey Steve, I have bought the dead aim alignment marker on you recommendation, but found that it's difficult to see the line clearly with the steel prongs,so I've highlighted them in different colours with a sharpy and it's made it much more visible. definitely worth doing and would recommend to other uses, you should try it👍
Bought this today. Spent 55 Canadian but I hope it's worth it. I have always had a hard time lining the ball up and too switched from the line to just a white top ball and trusting my feel. I hope this helps! You mentioned it also allow you to mark your ball.. I wish you showed how that works... Do you just out it around your ball and draw beside it for your line? Thanks again!
Steve I don't want you to think this is a negative statement.all the prongs are facing the one way when you say you are lying in it up to the prom number four. I am not sure what you are saying.
brian hutchinson watch my last video on taking dead aim. It’s on the screen at the end of this video, just click that and you’ll get a better understanding 👍👍👍
I now have a dead aim, thanks for the promo code. I’m now being accused of cheating by my playing partners, they say it’s not legal. I don’t have the answer. Do you know if it’s legal in comps?
I don’t want the dead aim marker Steve, I want one of those balls you use, the one that reverses back onto your putter and then goes straight in heehee, thanks mate, brill vid as always 👍🏌️♂️
I cant find the website to be able to get the dead aim marker!?!? I just started watching and subscribed ..... i may have to unsubscribe from mr. crossfeild!!!!🤣🤣🤣
dan lively Incorrect. Thats exactly what this avoids. Lining a black line on your ball can take 3 set and go back to check. Thats slow. The marker kills that.
Late to the party here, but love this as I’ve just started experimenting with a line on the ball for putts inside 15-20 foot and been very conscious of the added time it takes. Looking forward to getting one delivered. Thanks for the £2 discount Steve 👍🏻
Been using deadaim for a week, it's brilliant. You've probably already discovered this steve, if you use a ball with triple track lines, you can use the outside lines on the ball to line up with the prongs either side of the centre prong perfectly to get it bang on parallel.
Had the DeadAim Marker for a couple of weeks now and playing around with it on the Putting Green it definitely helps to line up the Ball to the intended target line. I haven't used it in a Comp yet so that will be the true test, but if it only saves me a Couple of Putts a Round it is going to have a significant effect upon my Handicap!!!!!!
Steve, you are just like me. I must solve the equation. The mind of an inventor. Got to enjoy the good moments when everything works correctly. The game cannot be solved!
I think its legal to use a tee to mark a ball. On breaking putts where you're likely to subconsciously alter your start line, mark the ball by placing tee on desired start line. Clean the ball and replace it with line on ball on same "line" as the tee. It works, I think its legal, but somebody will definitely call you a cheater if let them in on the method.
Steve, I've been using the Dead Aim tool for 2 days. Shot net 1 under today with 33 putts and came 2nd in today's medal. And about 6 putts shaved the hole. The Dead Aim tool definitely allows you to see the wider arc of putt. I also marked my ball with a big fat line which I cannot miss when I look down. So the combo of the putting line and the mark on the ball - a fabulous combo for better putting. Also discovered that I overestimate break on a uphill putt. Need to work on that. Def better than using one line, makes you realise that you've got some wiggle room if you use the right pace 😀
First putt you lined up the ball and then cut across and started it left ...the putter sightline did not even lineup with the ball sightline ... come on man...
Steve after watching the previous video on the dead aim I purchased one yes its not a magic wand but as you say if you practice with it and try different lines as against speed I have found it very helpful and it does not slow your game down as I played a four ball today and was always ready for my turn and ps no complaints and my putting improved thank you for showing me this putting aid will keep on practicing with it.
Hi Steve, Ordered it using your discount, got it, used it yesterday. Mad 3, 8 to 12 foot puts using the Dead aim. It was like magic. I feel sure I will get better with it after I use it a while longer. George
Hi Rhys, Gordon Rennie here from Dead Aim, I have searched our entire system and cannot find an order relating to your name? Do you have an order number so that I can look deeper for you? Apologies for any delay. Gordon
David Nichol there is no doubt the ball is placed on the intended line so there is no returning to the ball to realign. I will do another video soon on the simple quick process of how the Dead Aim doesn’t slow down play. Thanks for watching👍
It will speed up the game, rather than seeing players line up, check, adjust the ball, check it repeat till happy, you can do all this whilst people are putting then simply place the ball on your chosen line and job done.
It works... I also like the feedback from the very hard face of the putter with the softness of the golf ball. For me a soft insert and soft ball I get no feedback on strike.
Worth a go, thanks Steve! Like how it's made in Scotland too 🏴 💪

What colours did you highlight?

Is this device available in India
Is it just as effective further than 8 feet?
Can you use it in comps?
Sweet Zing 2!

He doesn't start to explain the product at all until 12:56. I know golf is slow,.. but dear lord, get to the point.
He explained it at 1:01 ya clown 😄
First ball lined up perfectly straight: first putt pulled 4inches left
I think I saw that in my silverware drawer its called a fork
Just ordered, like the concept and as always your enthusiasm with a bit of humour thrown in!

Bought DeadAim after the last video. Excellent piece of kit. Highly recommended it
I can't believe in 2019 someone owns one of those pens!!! Haven't seen one in 25 years lol
He’s Scottish. They’re a frugal breed.
Nice, thanks for the video 👍 now how to practice putting stroke speed

Steve. I love your old Ping Zing Putter
How do I buy a dead line putter
Won’t help anyone if your putting stroke isn’t right 🙈

Thank you Mark...just ordered two!

£20 for a forked bit of metal??no thanks. I'll improvise. Good video as usual, though
Hi Steve, well I bit the bullet and bought one, just need to wait and get out and play again to see if I get it too work like you did...
It's not the alignment part I have trouble with. You got anything that makes me hit it straight?
nice putter bro!
I thought ball markers with alignment lines/notches/slots were illegal?
Steve, you are just like me. I must solve the equation. The mind of an inventor. Got to enjoy the good moments when everything works correctly. The game cannot be solved!

J@D W so hard to get the tee exactly on your intended line. Dead aim give you a choice of nine lines from placing the marker on you estimated line
I thought the rules said markers had to be round.. unless the rules changed
You can mark the ball with anything that enables you to replace it in the original spot. You can use a tee if necessary.
@@jackkatzman1116 but you can't push the tee into the green!

Liz Lei that’s awesome feedback. Well done 👍👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Cheers Piers, is the 'loud' hat an essential part of this drill?
Love it. A friend of mine still games a set of the Ping Zingers, he’s a solid 3 handicap.
i believe any sort of alignment accessory is not allowed in competition games
Andy Southall i believe they classify it as a training aid
Not at all the Dead Aim is conforming to the rules of golf, I can share the letter stating so if you require it. 👍
Good training aid, not allowed in comps. Rule 8-2b (Indicating Line of Play On the Putting Green).
Where can you order these
Anthony Colley go to www.deadaim.co.uk to purchase. Make sure you enter promo code SJPGADeadAim for your discount👍
Keep coming back to this. Class video man.
First putt you lined up the ball and then cut across and started it left ...the putter sightline did not even lineup with the ball sightline ... come on man...

It works... I also like the feedback from the very hard face of the putter with the softness of the golf ball. For me a soft insert and soft ball I get no feedback on strike.
Good answer, that's why I've just bought one 😀 Great vids by the way.
hmmm Verry interesting i want it :)
£20 for a ball marker, you're welcome to it.
I was gonna get one but the shipping at £7 is a bit steep considering the size of it
Can you let me know which area that you are in? It seems it must be in the European zone? thank you
@@gordonrennie300 thanks for the response, Rep. Of Ireland
As well as the fact that you can get something similar on Amazon for less than £3
