- Join me on a journey through the rich history of my 1967 Chevy K20 pickup truck, a vehicle that has not only shaped my passion but also holds a deep family legacy. Originally purchased by my father for just 50 dollars, this truck became an integral part of our family's history, working alongside my grandfather for years. After my grandfather passed away, my father undertook a restoration project in his honor, breathing new life into the beloved Chevy.
However, after years of enjoyment, the truck sat idle for over 15 years, waiting for its next chapter. That's where I come in - as my father's son, I took on the challenge of resurrecting this iconic truck once again, determined to continue its legacy and honor the memories it holds.
Join me as I recount the unforgettable moments, the challenges faced, and the ultimate triumphs in preserving not just a vehicle, but a piece of family history that continues to inspire my automotive journey today. If you're a fan of classic trucks or simply appreciate a good restoration story, this video is for you. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more tales of automotive passion and heritage.
So touching and nostalgic story. Looking forward for new videos!
Thank you so much for taking the time to view. I hope you enjoy the videos to come!

Thanks David! Working on the SBC for Celyna then telling that story next 👌🏽🤝🏽
Your video just randomly came across my feed and i clicked it instantly. I am absolutely in love with your story. What a legendary truck. Im not sure if what your plans are but i hope your children share the same burning passion as you. My son is 8 and is on the spectrum for autism. I do all the vehicle repairs on our family vehicles. I try to get my son involved but it doesn't always stick. Like you, the only time i shared time with my father was under the hood of some car or truck. My father promised me our familys 1965 mustang gt when i graduated high school but he ended up selling it due to house emergencies. A ywar after i graduated he gifted me a 1972 Chevy Impala. I still own it but its rotting away in a open storage lot. I dont know the first thing about restoration but i hope i can return that car to its former glory days. Sorry for the long comment but i really appreciated this video. I wanna hear how tour dad got it for $50
Hey Julian, reading this made my day. Stick with it… my dad wasn’t the most patient but I certainly learned by example. Not just how to fix, but how to stay neat, organized, cleaning as you went and foreshadowing the next steps. I am sure it is making a difference ! But just like me… it doesn’t click till later.
I am hopeful on the 62… it would be amazing to get to drive it one day… small little consistent steps will get you there eventually 👌🏽
Stay tuned for the $50 dollar story… it’s short but rooted with kindness.
Beautiful introduction to this magnificent story. Thanks for taking us through on you and your father's journey with the K20. Definitely looking forward to see where the K20's next chapter goes, but first the $50.00 story. You got my vote!!!🙌
Thanks Oscar, already planning out the next video and hopefully also show it cruising a little.
Man it's so cool to see that truck again! I have fond childhood memories in it too. I remember your dad taking us kids - your brother, Erik, and me for a exhilarating ride in the Pismo Dunes. Can't wait to see more content :)
Wait a sec!! Did you ride in it as a kid?! I think I have a photo of you in the back!
