We’ve talked about the current King of the Viltrumites, Grand Regent Thragg just a little bit, but before going into detail on that character more I wanted to introduce you guys to the ORIGINAL King of the Viltrumites, a character who isn’t around anymore but is going to be VERY important as the story goes on. The Legendary King of the Vilrtumites was a man named Argall, who comes from the strongest, purest bloodline of Viltrumites there ever was, and at one point he was even known as the most powerful man in the universe. No one knows how long he lived, but considering Nolan lived for thousands of years already and he NEVER looked as Old as Argall, it’s safe to say that before Conquest or Thaedus HE was the oldest living Viltrumite in all of history, and he ruled their kingdom with an Iron Fist, being the reason why Viltrumite Culture had been so set on conquering every sector of the universe with him as their commander. It’s likely in honor to him that Viltrumite Men all sport similar moustaches to their legendary leader, but the problem with this character is not EVERY Viltrumite worshipped him like most do, and without knowing it Argall actually had a traitor in his empire, who eventually took action and ASSASSINATED the King, which indirectly lead to the death of the Viltrumite Empire as the universe once knew it, but atleast it gave Thragg a really cool skull to hold onto during meetings.

Apparently grand Regent Thragg didn't want to give up his rule over the viltrumites so after there only 50 pure blooded viltrumites left after the rest were wiped out thanks to the scourge virus he thought all of Argalls secret children died but 1 survived and his name was the great Nolan

Apparently they were searching for Argos descendant and was until they had a reason to test a vulture Mike that come down with a newer version of The scourge fires but was still fighting at all that they found out who argyle descendant was
And with that I was able to figure it all out.
Thragg isn’t a king, he’s the Grand Regent. He’s “holding the throne” until they find Argall’s heir
and when they do he's like nah fuck you lol

As powerful as he was, his life was ended by merely being stabbed in the head with a knife. And it was just another Viltrumite who did the deed.
The knife wasn’t just an ordinary knife, it was one made of a viltrumite bones, so that’s why is able to pierce the skin.

As far as I know, he was beloved by viltrumutes for his wisdom and wise judgement. They were against thragg, who truly ruled viltrum with an iron fist, since he was chosen for his strength
He was Nolan's father too. He wasn't the strongest though, thragg is most definitely stronger as stated by other viltrumites that knew argall, argall was respected for his wisdom beyond anything else.

Yeah, it was hidden. When it was revealed that Nark and Nolan are from Argall's bloodline, Thragg refuses to give up the throne because even tho he was grand regent- which means he was only "holding" the throne until the real successor was found- he thought he deserved the throne the most, after everything he has done for the empire over the many, many years.
