This is a manipuri song but the shooting was done in Assam. Yeah most of the manipuris looks like Chinese, japaneses etc. The lyrics of the says you've become more beautiful as you become older and older and expressing their love about each other. Thank you for the reaction.

NE India during the ancient period was isolated from India & have their own Kingdoms. Assam, Manipur, Tripura all were separate dynasties. When British occupied Assam during the year 1826 , Assam became a part of India.

I dont think the video was shot in manipur. Yeah the video is about love. Yeah she is wearing one of the traditional attires but they modified a bit. If u r interested in manipur video then i suggest two videos "we are one" and "come alive". Cause these two show about unity or bond between hill dwellers and valley dwellers. But if u are interested in manipur related classical type/like song, u can search for song sung by Mangka or rosy heisnam etc. Lira lira means "as time pass and pass" base on that song.

These places they'd shot aren't not here in Manipur. They eventually go to other places for shooting I guess. We don't grow tea here as well. And yes, otherwise Manipur is full of greens and hills. It has a freshwater lake called loktak lake and many locals and Farmers earn a living there by the lake in sorts of fishing and farming. This lake has floating vegetations called phumdi and if these phumdis are old and marure enough to thicken themselves then any locals even build shelters on top of them which normally floats and move from one point to another. Manipur is a small beautiful state bounded by 9 Hill ranges back to back. We have 33 different ethnic tribes here and meiteilon is the majority people talk here and it also serves as the common language through people used to communicate at large. And lastly, the title of the song ' Lira Lira phajabadi ei khaktani' simply says " I am the only guy who looks better and handsome as the days go by/ getting smarter and handsome as he is getting old 😂😂". So this is a song which the guy is seen saying the line to the girl as a response of him to the girl's saying time is going to pass as he is always holding the three words to himself and never made it clear to her.
