Recently I attended the Spa Valley Railway "Model Railway Weekend" with my TT:120 layout Teaton making its debut! In addition to displaying my own layout there were lots of other amazing model railways on display across the railway most of which are featured in this video of the event.
Unfortunately as I was tied up with exhibiting my own layout I was unable to make it to Groombridge and Eridge to see the layouts there - my apologies to any exhibitors there who have been left out as a result. As it was the show was incredibly busy all weekend, which has been another massive success for the railway, and so I only managed to have a quick run round the show to film what I could on the Sunday afternoon as things were quietening down.

Really great to meet you at Spa Valley Railway and have a good chat. So good to see your finished Teaton TT:120 layout which really did have pride of place and was getting lots of attention. A great range of layouts to see, all with their own merits; something for everyone I thought. Thank you for the video which brings back happy memories of the day.

Another 'great to have met you at Spa Valley' comment here. Was fabulous seeing the layout in real life after having followed your series of videos as you built it. Thanks for the samples, and for the badge.. which appears to have fallen off somewhere in Tunbridge Wells on the way back to station. Oh well. Anyway, a great layout, a great model railway guy, and at a great show.

Really nice to see you on Saturday and have a chat. There were some great layouts there as always. Great to see your TT layout, it was worth the van hire, promoting the "new" scale that has had some stick. Lead from the front, fantastic and thanks for the sample bag, looks good stuff 😀
Likewise! We had lots of great conversations about TT:120 over the course of the show with it being many people's first real world experience of the scale. I know it won't be for everyone but at the very least I think some people will have a new appreciation for the scale and where it fits within the greater hobby. these are stunning model railways, thank you for sharing. I think my favorite had to be the Lego one, I didn't know that Legos could be motorized like that

Looks like there were some really nice layouts there. It's good to see a layout under construction, speaking of which have you seen my grandson's videos where he's working on his 009 layout. He's just put episode 6 up on his Dylington Model Railway channel. Great video... Cheers James 🙂👍

Of course I recognised your TT layout, great to see that Thomas was there - I hope those goods wagons were not misbehavin'!! (sic) erm, um, that second layout ... which planet is that from??
I went to the Shenfield exhibition, as it was just up the line from where I live and (time permitting) hope to get to Maidstone to see Underground Eric and the other stands at the Rapido Railex.
There was definitely a lot see! It's nice that the exhibition seems to grow every year as it becomes more well established. Thanks for watching 😃

Hello, we met on Sunday and we talked about you might be able,to exhibit at St John’s Hildenborough Model Railway Exhibition on 12/07/2025. This is a community event to be held in both the Church and Church Centre. Please can you let me know if you able to bring your layout for this event.

Are you taking your layout to any other shows?
We've had lots of invites off the back of this exhibition but there are no firm plans yet. The layout was built for my Dad to be installed in his office and once we get it in there I have no idea if it'll be possible to get it back out. Like I've been saying in the layout build videos, the Spa exhibition was intended to be the only time we show this layout in public. Thanks for watching 😃
