    What a wonderful adventure with Jane. So knowledgeable. Fun to see through Jane's eyes as she finds these treasures, though none is really "ordinary". A wonderful virtual voyage to England. Thank you.

      Thanks Avril! The rivers are high and silty here too right now, but hopefully some new finds will wash out with all the rains! Good luck with your searching!

      Cool! Was it a ramune bottle from Japan? They still make them! www.beachcombingmagazine.com/blogs/news/ramune-bottles-and-marbles

    Hi I just researched your video, it's great! Can I ask, are those waders neoprene ones? And are the gloves "built in" to something you're wearing? Need to get better waders!

    • @myordinarytreasure
      @myordinarytreasure 2 года назад +2

      Hi Avril, thank you! Yes I would definitely recommend neoprene waders, you really do stay much warmer in them, they're more flexible and don't puncture - I was forever trying to repair my plastic ones! The gloves are full length waterproof gauntlets, the types people buy for cleaning drains and ponds, and I wear warm woolly gloves inside. You don't have great flexibility in your fingers, but they do stay relatively warm, so you can keep going! When it gets warmer I switch to neoprene gloves. Hope that helps!

      @@myordinarytreasure this is so helpful and encouraging, thank you. Neoprene it is!

    What is the huge stick you use? Is it DIY?

    • @Beachcombing
      @Beachcombing  2 месяца назад

      I'm pretty sure Jane made the stick and the thing she uses to see in the water!
