I would be interested in seeing these freeze dried without the cooking part. They aren't fried, just microwaved. Skip a step. Re-hydrate with hot water and give it a little fry in the pan? I like mine a little crispy. Maybe add in some FD's scrambled egg? May try this the next time I do fried rice. Thanks!!
you could if you aren't looking for an instant/just add hot water meal. The box directions says to cook before eating. I was looking for an instant meal already cooked.
wow you are the second person this morning asking where I store it, I think I am getting paranoid. Just kidding, it isn't as much as you may think but lets say disorganized chaos with plans to put in spare bedroom.
Hey John I just had an idea. Since you usually weigh everything before you freeze dry it, you should weigh it when your done. Say if you had 2 pounds of rice, and it weighed 1 pound after, you'd know you need to add 1 pound of water. Think it would work?
Have you found this fried rice lately at Walmart? If so did the price go up? Thank you for all your wonderful videos. I just don't understand why you don't have more likes and Subscribers. Your videos are so good. 🔥
Thank you, I haven't bought it for awhile, I sure hope they still have it. Even if the price goes up it is worth it for me. My favorite fried rice by far.
Love seeing a dish from several home FD parts. :) That's a big part of what I'd like to explore when I get mine.
question... if it comes frozen, why not put it frozen into the freeze dryer.
Where can I purchase partitions like the ones at the 0:27 mark?
Frozenright.com look for the "modular moulds"
I like this too. I usually add cashews, can of green beans and extra chicken 🐓
Great idea!

I’m going to try.
Couldn’t you just freeze dry right out of package? Add your water back in and heat in micro or stove top?

Just curious where you store all the food processed? Really enjoy your videos.
