So it turns out, Firestar was not afraid of Bramblestar as a kit because he looked like Tigerstar, Bramblestar was just genuinely evil.
This part of the book made me want to throw it in a fire like Thunderclan will take in any kittypet or rouge they find but since Bramblestar is having a personal argument with Squirrelflight who happened to find them then they must be evil murderers like ahhhh nooo

Brambleclaw used to be one of my favorite cats back up until the middle of the second series. Now he’s degraded so much, it honestly makes me really sad.
I'd say he was great up until the recent books, but ESPECIALLY Squirrelflight's Hope. Though tbh be and Squirrel both bugged me so much in that one that I refuse to consider it canon. They both felt out of character, though it hurt Bramble way more.
