This is beautiful! You portray Leafpool and Squirrelflights relationship wonderfully, it made me so sad and happy for them at the same time. They truly were sisters.
I love how this shows they both understand the emotional turmoil they put everyone through, but that they also did it with the best intentions and love for everyone in their lives. I feel like everyone either demonizes them or demonizes every single cat around them without realizing that yes, they hurt the three and Bramble, but they didn’t do it to be deceitful-they did it for each other. I also love how it shows there’s still some hurt there-hurt for Leafpool Squilf gets to raise her kits, and hurt on Squilf’s end she had to make up for Leaf’s own decisions, but that they still loved each other and wouldn’t change a thing. Both their character arcs through the PO3 and OOTS has so many underlying and unaddressed emotions, and out of the hundreds, maybe thousands, of animations about each character, this is the first one I’ve seen that actually manages to display all the different emotions of the sisters, the guilt, the love, the fear, the betrayal, the happiness, and the self doubt.

Also, can we just talk about your art style??? Omg, the way you draw these kitties is so delicious, I can't stop rewatching. Black and white is also really hard to draw, and you completely nailed it. Maybe I'm reading too far into it but each time the line 'your favorite crime' plays it shows different scenes and I can't help but take it almost literally in the manner that the 'crimes' were the way they had hurt people- like with Leaf dragging Squilf into this with her (tho Squilf did agree obvi but u get my point) and then showing her trying to protect Squilf at the gathering- and then leaf with starclan, and how they just ROYALLY fucked her over- and then with holly and leaf, how holly nearly killed her mom and obvi terrified leaf, and finally ending with 'cause you were mine' with leaf at the cave-in and you really do get the feeling, just from the drawings alone, that she doesn't regret a thing... ANYWAY this has immediately become one of my FAVORITE wc pmvs-

It just breaks my heart that the three didn’t even appreciate Leafpool and were angry at her, I understand they had the right to be angry but still, she sacrificed EVERYTHING for them and no one understood. (spoilers a lil) and in squilfs super edition Leafpool and squilf for challenged by starclan. Like everyone has done way way worse things and the things they did were for the good. How did Ashfur go into starclan after all the things he has done and squilf and leaf get challenged? It’s not fair, leaf and squilf deserve way way way more.
This is absolutely heartbreaking; the portrayal of my two favorites is beautiful and does their characters so much justice! Awesome work, hope to see more in the future! :D
