Can't wait to try out our heat foil press. Looking into purchasing embossing dies. I think a few places will custom make them for you. I'll look into the vintage hot stamps ,, you know older ones like the older antique ones used back in the day. So far I haven't had any luck. Smh

ok, sorry but this is not something we can really help with, old die blocks are often only sold off when being cleared out and we do not really have a contact for them.

What temperature should the machine or any machine be in to deboss leather (all types)
Should I wet the leather for it to deboss more easily ?

Depending on the leather, a good starting point would be about 120 degrees centigrade - increase temperature and pressure as required. Wetting leather slightly at first helps to give a slightly deeper and darker deboss. I hope this helps.

Each foil has a different release. Some barely any hot and less pressure others very hot and lot of pressure. I do this on a big scale 28x40 paper. Bobst sp 102
