  • In 2027, the Calgary Flames will be moving to a new arena. As we await that building's completion, we can look to new arenas in other cities to see what to expect. First up, we head three hours north to Edmonton and explore Rogers Place, which opened in 2016.

    Excellent. thanks. I'd vote for a much steeper lower bowl, like in Montreal. It puts you much closer to the action. I've heard the self serve beer and sandwich kiosks are going to be numerous which is great. I see no details on the green line connection to the Event Centre other than an out door walk. Same for red line now that its a bit further away.

    as long as our new arena isn't the "Tuna Can" like Rogers. Damn that thing is ugly.
