Where are the water flow restrictors located at? It seems all AKDY shower panels all come with flow restrictors installed from the factory due to water flow regulations in California and possibly other states. I wish I had tested mine as you did before installing it. I think it would have made more sense to provide the parts with the unit rather than installing them in it. I live in Texas and don't know of any states that require flow restrictors in our region of the country. With the restrictors installed the water flow is just over 1 gallon per minute. Makes for a very crappy shower experience, LOL
Did the shower head work while the body jets are running? Couldn't see in video... also when both are running (if that is so) is there a loss in pressure on both the overhead and jets?
No - your selector options are: shower head, top 4 body jets, bottom 4 body jets, all 8 jets, wand or tub filler. When you have 4 jets on they are stronger than when all 8 are on. The jets individually toggle (by twisting them) between massage and mist. With mist it's similar to a steam room. Hope that helps!
I removed the restricter at the shower pick, it did nothing to improve flow, there must be multiple restricters, these panel systems look nice but they suck
I thought I remembered that it changed the units from Fahrenheit to Celsius but I just tried it on both units and it didn't do anything that I could discover... 😅

Hi. Water is not flowing out of the shower head on our panel, and it is getting stuck inside the panel. Is this an easy fix or a plumber job?

The body sprayers and shower head or hand-held sprayer only operate one function at a time!!

its not that bad. there is 3 restrictors for most. once you remove them its super good

Never actually measured that, but we do have really great pressure at our house.
