Old comment but if any of you still play Kenshi there's a mod that adds a start called "Impoverished Noble" that makes you start at Tengu's Vault with a unique sword with the set backstory that you are a noble's son and your family was murdered and you took up your Father's sword (Which is a unique weapon that can be Edge 1 to 3) and ends the backstory with "Welcome to Kenshi" was super sick and super hard to escape without going full thief/assassin.
All-around great, atmospheric piece, but... man, that cello in the very end, there is something enchanting I really can't explain. Can't stop listening.

@✪Hidden how come though? I think if it has any FO vibes, it is probably FO 1 "struggle" vibes and that's it. Both games are very bleak and state of FO 1 appears to be more wild, pretty much like Kenshi's. FO 2 has more of a "revival" feel to it, not to mention the amount of jokes there.

My Graphics card and PC in General is 3 years old and the game runs fine on very high. .-. Don't know why the game doesn't run smoothly for you. Also I think the main screen isn't affected by the settings you have in game.

(I wanted to try it out first before even considering the 20 Dollar Price Tag) so far it left a bad impression and I haaaate how the camera is and how I have to press the "Switch Floors" button to see my character in Floor 1,2,3 Etc. Plus I can't figure out how to Train my character lol I should look up a Tutorial video on here and get back on. It said the version I got was from 2015 or 2016 though so I thought it was updated enough. I heard this game was talked about or created since 7 years ago. But yeah the Shit performance is adding such a fuss to all these annoyances and basically escalating them higher than what I would've thought they were if I at least got to play at a steady 60FPS. This game needs some art direction DESPERATELY. The concept is so great, the music is amazing, but holy shit it's ugly. It's setting is utterly confused, it's color direction is boring at best, it's character design is uninspired...
Skylitze i love this game to death, but holy shit you're not kidding. A style upgrade would definitely be nice, but i can't wait for them to unlock more of the world map.
The game is still in beta, and you can mod it to have more variety. The real changes lie in the body sliders, which kinda makes sense since you will most often be watching your characters from a distance. As for the world, I agree that it seems to be based on a misremembered history, like the early humans found all this stuff and just sort of pieced it together. Makes me wonder about all the fallen giant skeleton debris and mysterious stuff like the Eye or the Crater.
Obeidience is special in a way because they apparently used chemicals to destroys the giants skeletons which caused the fog around the "fogs islands", if you bring a fellow skeleton in Obeidance he will tell you a bit about the giant robot and i believe World's End have a book about the use of toxic material in Obeidience. And having a Skeleton to speak with Finn at World's End reveal that Holy Nation are probably right to fear and hate Skeletons.
I sort of agree, but then again... The potato graphics sort of add to its charm. It's the same with games like TES: Oblivion, Mount&Blade and the like.
It sounds so desperate yet so hopeful at the same time. Really represents the game well.

BTW, the soundtrack isn't actually in the game - it's procedurally generated there from certain parts.
The main menu theme, at the time of the upload was the same for every start up. While the rest was procedually generated.
