My Dad was a Muslim who committed his life to knowing and serving Jesus Christ. He didn’t try and force any of his children to follow his path but just lived Christ before us. I was an avid atheist till 16 years ago when in my 40s I committed my life to Jesus Christ after an encounter which probably happened due to the prayers of my Dad. My siblings all became Christians too, no coercion, bribery or threats, just love and patience. What an amazing God we serve❤

I was a secret atheist in a Christian family and I happened to see a miracle heeling. So I was asking god to come to me for me to believe. The one who came was Jesus and told me to believe in him. I heard heavenly music first and then I can see a man’s divine presence on my side and heard his voice in my language saying’I am Jesus Christ, believe in me’ . From that very minute I became a true Christian and all my prayers are answered all the time.

for me, i am raised in church. I never understood what dying for my sins meant. I just heard it and said yes, yes, i believe you. But I never believed I could go to heaven at all. Even though I am a pretty good person, I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that I will be in hell along with serial killers and greedy politicians. No difference. So that kept me from going to church. From seeking God. As soon as I was no longer under my parents' rule, i stopped going to church. But since the war in GAZA, this made me question and seek for the truth. Why do we protect Israel even though they are atrocious? They have been treating Palestinians like dogs for so long and now they are murdering them? What gives them the right and why is the church blind? So in my search, I was looking into Quran. But I think God didn't want me to leave Christianity because a video i encountered sai, Jesus died for my sins and I already have a place in heaven. My own good deeds will not even save me. He knows that, that's why He sent Jesus. That's the most powerful manifestation of LOVE from a father to his child. It's too powerful. I am still looking in to Quran just to see what i dont know but the more i do that, the more i see Jesus as my savior.

The only thing is that we as people, humans, want to know what happens when we die and these different religions provide a answer. To Christians, Heaven is paradise when our time is up on Earth for all who believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for all of humanities sins and wrongdoings. Heaven is more than paradise though, it's a way for people to be with someone who loves them, and that's God. Hell is a consequence for evil people and provides justice for the wrongdoings from people on Earth. Hope that helps 👍

I have been inconsistent with my faith to God, I am a sinner in desperate need of healing,replenishing,awakening and courage to follow my God. I have deeply felt the love of God and Jesus in my life, I once was having a terrible sleep paralysis and my dreams were demons and I swear I was conscious and awake but couldn’t open my eyes, it started to get worse when that demon was chanting something and I couldn’t open my eyes and I was choking in my words and throat, I immediately said a prayer and before I could say in The name of Jesus that things was chanting so hard that I couldn’t say Jesus fully.. it took 7 times to say Jesus and when I finally completed the prayer. I finally woke up and opened my eyes immediately. That’s when I felt that God and Jesus was with me.. I always thought and will think that every religion is beautiful and have always recognised the faith and commitment of muslims to their prayers and holy events. May God bless us all and may he guide us the way back to him. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

I found it so eerie how adamant the Quran is to discredit Jesus, and then they have the audacity to put Mohammed in his place on the day of resurrection, and also say that we worship the same God. The more I learn About Islam, The more I am proud to worship and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the most logical worship for us to have fulfillment and salvation.
I was a christian for 10 years. Islam makes far more sense than christianity! In Islam their is fairness, in christianity the dogma is one life for all. How can anyone reconcile the fairness in that? People in North America for example have privelaged lives, yet billions of people live in hardship and die at a very young age of hunger and aids and violence......No way a fair and just god would map it out like that.

I always pray that I am being led to the right path. But I truly believe I am saved by Jesus Christ and that I’ve experienced His Holy Spirit moving in my life. However I did want to point out that yes, people live in extreme hardship compared to Americans like myself, but part of having faith is relying on God alone even in really challenging times. The apostles were all persecuted in extreme ways and to this day people are martyred for their faith. My family has a church plant in Haiti (My dad is from the Dominican Republic and my uncle is from haiti.) However dispite their social, political, and economic distress, I’ve heard amazing stories of people holding onto their faith no matter what. I’m curious to hear your opinion on this.

Islam, especially in this verse, means to follow all messengers of God. Worshiping the God not the prophet. Jews', Christians', and Muslims' God is the same one. The one who doesn't believe in one of the messengers is not Muslim, and since Mohammad peace be upon him is the last messenger, every believer should follow his teachings and believe in the previous messengers as they are sent from God.

As a muslim, I just want to point out something crucial I think you failed to understand in that Quran verse. It clearly states "and what was revealed to you", not what you have and can read today. As muslims, we believe in the original words of God that had been revealed to Jesus at his time. In fact, if we don't we are not muslims. However, since then, a significant proportion of it has been corrupted and we don't believe in the present bible. So there is no discrepancy in the Quran verse you mentioned, you just assumed it was about the current bible and therefore all the reasoning that followed in the video was inconsistent.

But you are right, the religion of Islam and its teachings and laws, are based on transmitted information and narrations, what really counts is not my opinion but the interpretations of the biggest Islam teachers who have written commentaries (tafasir) on the Koran, personal opinions are in Islam Haram, most of this big scholars actually interpret the verse as a curse for Jews and Christians (kufaar). I gave my life to Jesus three years ago as a college student because I was facing depression and hopelessness. I was someone who was not a staunch atheist but heavily doubted Christian things like church or reading the Bible could bring me joy. But out of desperation, I prayed to God that He would reveal to me that what is foolish in my eyes true, if it is indeed true. That very night, I received prayer from my campus ministry pastor and I received joy everlasting. Since then, I've grown in my faith, but after much evangelism and encountering others' points of views, I saw that I was extremely deficient in the knowledge of other religions. I just finished studying the Bible cover to cover and I hope to get more involved in studying other religions, and I'm confident that Christianity shall prove itself to be the truth as it is the truth. This video helped me a lot to get started. Islam really intrigues me and Muslims are always the most open people to talk about Christianity compared to others. May God have mercy on the Muslims.

I am quite bemused (and downcast) that Mr Evans found similarities between the Bible and the Quran especially in the light of recent textual investigations of the Quran showing that it is mostly plagiarised from previously written Christian-inspired poetry and hymns and various heretical compositions, and the numerous "dark passages" become understandable when translated from Aramaic showing that they had nothing to do with Allah or anything Islamic.

The Quran is the direct word of God, point-blank period. If he took from the prior scriptures, then he should have also copied the errors that have been found in the prior scriptures. But he didn't. The Quran is specifically called the criterion because it confirms what is truthful and rejects what is false falsehood. Therefore, we use the Quran to see what is true in the prior scriptures and what is false. We can have an example. In the Bible, it says that Abraham and his people worshipped other gods. It didn't give any more details than that. When we look at the Quran in chapter 6, verse 76 through 78, it says that he worshipped a star, the sun, and the moon. This is the astral triad that has been found to have been worshipped by the ancient Babylonians during his time. How would the Prophet Muhammad have known about these people and their theology when this was just recently discovered? I watched your whole video and found nothing to convert to Christianity. Also, the verse (al-ankaboot:46) says,"And say, 'We believe in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to you. Our God and your God is One. And to Him we submit." The thing is that we Muslims believe in the Bible that was revealed on Jesus(PBUH). The Bible revealed by Allah. How can a God be killed by the hands of his own creation? And also in the last hadith (Bukhari: 6307), how come you concluded that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) sinned more than 70 times a day? If someone ask for forgiveness of Allah Almighty 70 times a day, does that mean that he is sinning 70 times a day. No! Not at all! For us Muslims asking Allah for repentence is like a good deed, it is "zikar" for us. (Go search it if you don't know what is "zikar ذکر". This Hadith gives us the message that we should ask Allah Almighty for forgiveness. In this whole video, I don't find a single argument that converts someone to Christianity. But the information you gave clears that your knowledge of Islam and also your understanding level is pathetic.

I presume that you are an evangelical christian and you believe in the doctrine of the trinity and vicarious atonement but not doing good works then you also believe as long as a man who rapes and murders your daughter and then repents and later on sin the same sin or a man rapes and murders your sister and then repents and later on sin the same sin or a man rape and murders your mother and then repents and later on sin the same sin or rapes and murders your wife and then repents and later on sin the same sin and evangelical christian still believes in the doctrine of the trinity and also believes that Jesus Christ died on the cross for his sins that he will be forgiven and will go to heaven and despite continuing to rape and murder innocent people but will still go to heaven as he still believe in the doctrine of the trinity and also as long as he still believes that Jesus died on the cross because you believe that this man is your evangelical christian brethren who you will embrace him but you also believe that good works are just like dirty rags according to your apostle Paul as your apostle Paul also said that faith alone believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins they you are forgiven and will go to heaven is your only salvation. They include actions for the Great Commission, that is, Christian evangelism, service in the Church and charity. So Good works is a consequence but not a necessity for christian evangelical salvation. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. ~Romans 10:9-10 You cannot be saved by your good works, because no matter how hard you try, your “good” is not good enough for the perfectly holy and completely righteous God who alone grants salvation. Nor can you be saved by your moral perfection-no matter how moral or how perfect you are. As the Old Testament prophet Isaiah points out, your righteousness is about as good as a “snot rag”. (Isaiah 64:6 ). I have actually cleaned that up a bit, because the Hebrew phrase for filthy rags, ukabeged ehdim, literally means, “like as rags of menstruation.” Sorry if that disgusts you, but it’s Scripture-so blame Isaiah. The point is, both our acts of righteousness, and the quality of righteousness that we hope they produce, are disgusting to God. So if you are disgusted by Isaiah’s language, think of how God, who inspired Isaiah to choose those coarse words, is repulsed by our efforts to get him to save us. So what hope, then, is there for our salvation? Well, frankly, no hope resides within us. None whatsoever. Ephesians 2:1 says “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins.” That’s how hopeless we are apart from God’s work to save us. You see, all a dead person can do is lay there and be dead, let alone try to be righteous before God.
Just to clarify one thing, at 13:25, the hadith mentions the Prophet (PBUH) seeks forgiveness and turns to Allah in repentance 70 times a day. NOWHERE is it mentioned or implied that the Prophet (PBUH) sinned 70 time a day. The Prophet (PBUH) was/is free from sins ( just like previous Prophets before him). Now some might ask "why did he ask for forgiveness if he did not sin?" Well, that's because the Prophet (PBUH) was/is a humble person, and this act demonstrates his humility.

He is referring to his temporary position while on earth. The verses you cited have nothing to do with who he actually is, according to John 1:14. No verses you cite can change this solitary fact.

When Jesus says he can do nothing of himself, please remember that the Three are equally One in relationship with one another according to ephesians 1. They don't operate unilaterally. There is One God, but within Him, there are three distinct persons. These do not operate in and of themselves unilaterally.

This guy talking in the video just flipped the words of the prophet Mohammed peace be upon him. He said he repented 70 time a day. Repentance isn't about asking lord Allah for forgiveness only when you sinned. It's about showing god the mercy you need from him. Why am I saying this? Because in another Hadith the following is said: These 'sins' were minor sins that occurred before the revelation, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, continued to fear them until God Almighty forgave them for him. Among these is Imam Al-Shafi’i, may God have mercy on him. Al-Shafi’i said in “Al-Umm” (7/310): “Then it was revealed to his Prophet that his previous and future sins would be forgiven. That means, and God knows best, his previous sins.” before the revelation, and afterward: to protect him so that he would not commit a sin, so he knew what to do with him. May His satisfaction be with him, and that he is the first intercessor and will be interceded on the Day of Resurrection, and the Lord of creation.. Al-Qurtubi said in his interpretation of “Al-Jami’ Li Ahkam Al-Qur’an” (20/233): “If it is said: What can be forgiven to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, until he is commanded to seek forgiveness? It was said to him: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say in his supplication: My Lord, forgive me my sin and my ignorance, and my extravagance in all my affairs, and what you know of. From me. Oh God, forgive me my mistake, my intentionality, my ignorance, and my jest, and all of that. O God, forgive me for what I have done and what I have delayed, and what I have announced and what I have secreted. You are the advancer and you are the latter. You are capable of anything. So he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to think about himself, because of the greatness of what God had bestowed upon him, and he saw his failure to fulfill that right as sins. These kinds of video's only make my belief stronger, because people never really dive into meanings of narration. You can't just read translation and have an opinion. You need to read tafseer, which is means Detailed explanation and interpretation. Arabic isn't a language you can just translate and keep the same meaning. My Dad was a Muslim who committed his life to knowing and serving Jesus Christ. He didn’t try and force any of his children to follow his path but just lived Christ before us.
I was an avid atheist till 16 years ago when in my 40s I committed my life to Jesus Christ after an encounter which probably happened due to the prayers of my Dad. My siblings all became Christians too, no coercion, bribery or threats, just love and patience. What an amazing God we serve❤

I was a secret atheist in a Christian family and I happened to see a miracle heeling. So I was asking god to come to me for me to believe. The one who came was Jesus and told me to believe in him. I heard heavenly music first and then I can see a man’s divine presence on my side and heard his voice in my language saying’I am Jesus Christ, believe in me’ . From that very minute I became a true Christian and all my prayers are answered all the time.

I am so happy for you! I had the same situation when I prayed and asked to be guided to the truth, regardless of what it could be: Jesus or Islam.
And turned out it was Jesus. But I studied Islam further as a Christian because it is a part of my culture, so in the end, I am a Christian with an open mind and an ability to love my Muslim neighbour more.
Update: it is actually truly interesting to see how Jesus (Son of God or Prophet, whatever you prefer) is not a product of His environment, but the pne formulating it. In a family-focused agrarian society with women being in status close to things than humans, He preached a) separation from family and following Him b) equal rights for men and women in following Him (remember that we had female disciples) and living faith over just law :)
for me, i am raised in church. I never understood what dying for my sins meant. I just heard it and said yes, yes, i believe you. But I never believed I could go to heaven at all. Even though I am a pretty good person, I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that I will be in hell along with serial killers and greedy politicians. No difference. So that kept me from going to church. From seeking God. As soon as I was no longer under my parents' rule, i stopped going to church. But since the war in GAZA, this made me question and seek for the truth. Why do we protect Israel even though they are atrocious? They have been treating Palestinians like dogs for so long and now they are murdering them? What gives them the right and why is the church blind? So in my search, I was looking into Quran. But I think God didn't want me to leave Christianity because a video i encountered sai, Jesus died for my sins and I already have a place in heaven. My own good deeds will not even save me. He knows that, that's why He sent Jesus. That's the most powerful manifestation of LOVE from a father to his child. It's too powerful. I am still looking in to Quran just to see what i dont know but the more i do that, the more i see Jesus as my savior.

The only thing is that we as people, humans, want to know what happens when we die and these different religions provide a answer. To Christians, Heaven is paradise when our time is up on Earth for all who believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for all of humanities sins and wrongdoings. Heaven is more than paradise though, it's a way for people to be with someone who loves them, and that's God. Hell is a consequence for evil people and provides justice for the wrongdoings from people on Earth. Hope that helps 👍

I have been inconsistent with my faith to God, I am a sinner in desperate need of healing,replenishing,awakening and courage to follow my God.
I have deeply felt the love of God and Jesus in my life, I once was having a terrible sleep paralysis and my dreams were demons and I swear I was conscious and awake but couldn’t open my eyes, it started to get worse when that demon was chanting something and I couldn’t open my eyes and I was choking in my words and throat, I immediately said a prayer and before I could say in The name of Jesus that things was chanting so hard that I couldn’t say Jesus fully.. it took 7 times to say Jesus and when I finally completed the prayer. I finally woke up and opened my eyes immediately.
That’s when I felt that God and Jesus was with me..
I always thought and will think that every religion is beautiful and have always recognised the faith and commitment of muslims to their prayers and holy events.

I found it so eerie how adamant the Quran is to discredit Jesus, and then they have the audacity to put Mohammed in his place on the day of resurrection, and also say that we worship the same God. Well, let me break it down for you, I'm a Muslim and I believe in Jesus, But the Jesus I believe in and the one you believe in are very different. He had a nocturnal emission on it, and he felt too shy to send it back to send it back to her when it had the traces of that emission on it, so he dipped it in water and then sent it to her. 'Aishah said: 'Why did he spoil our garment? It would have been sufficient for him to scrape it off with his finger. I often scraped it (semen) from the garment of the Messenger of Allah with my finger.' Sunan Ibn Majah 538]

I was a christian for 10 years. Islam makes far more sense than christianity! In Islam their is fairness, in christianity the dogma is one life for all. How can anyone reconcile the fairness in that? People in North America for example have privelaged lives, yet billions of people live in hardship and die at a very young age of hunger and aids and violence......No way a fair and just god would map it out like that.

However I did want to point out that yes, people live in extreme hardship compared to Americans like myself, but part of having faith is relying on God alone even in really challenging times. The apostles were all persecuted in extreme ways and to this day people are martyred for their faith. My family has a church plant in Haiti (My dad is from the Dominican Republic and my uncle is from haiti.) However dispite their social, political, and economic distress, I’ve heard amazing stories of people holding onto their faith no matter what.

As a muslim, I just want to point out something crucial I think you failed to understand in that Quran verse. It clearly states "and what was revealed to you", not what you have and can read today. As muslims, we believe in the original words of God that had been revealed to Jesus at his time. In fact, if we don't we are not muslims. However, since then, a significant proportion of it has been corrupted and we don't believe in the present bible. So there is no discrepancy in the Quran verse you mentioned, you just assumed it was about the current bible and therefore all the reasoning that followed in the video was inconsistent.

But you are right, the religion of Islam and its teachings and laws, are based on transmitted information and narrations, what really counts is not my opinion but the interpretations of the biggest Islam teachers who have written commentaries (tafasir) on the Koran, personal opinions are in Islam Haram, most of this big scholars actually interpret the verse as a curse for Jews and Christians (kufaar). I gave my life to Jesus three years ago as a college student because I was facing depression and hopelessness. I was someone who was not a staunch atheist but heavily doubted Christian things like church or reading the Bible could bring me joy. But out of desperation, I prayed to God that He would reveal to me that what is foolish in my eyes true, if it is indeed true. That very night, I received prayer from my campus ministry pastor and I received joy everlasting. Since then, I've grown in my faith, but after much evangelism and encountering others' points of views, I saw that I was extremely deficient in the knowledge of other religions. I just finished studying the Bible cover to cover and I hope to get more involved in studying other religions, and I'm confident that Christianity shall prove itself to be the truth as it is the truth. This video helped me a lot to get started. Islam really intrigues me and Muslims are always the most open people to talk about Christianity compared to others. May God have mercy on the Muslims.

Studying other religions can help you know how to help those people to find the truth. Knowing some key errors or contradictions gives you a way to show the problems with what they believe. Some people are especially talented to learn and keep these ideas straight in their minds. There are so many religions and beliefs, I sometimes get the cults confused.

I simply scraped it off and he offered prayer, while putting that on [Sahih Muslim 288a]

For us Muslims asking Allah for repentence is like a good deed, it is "zikar" for us. (Go search it if you don't know what is "zikar ذکر". This Hadith gives us the message that we should ask Allah Almighty for forgiveness.

Sorry if that disgusts you, but it’s Scripture-so blame Isaiah. The point is, both our acts of righteousness, and the quality of righteousness that we hope they produce, are disgusting to God. So if you are disgusted by Isaiah’s language, think of how God, who inspired Isaiah to choose those coarse words, is repulsed by our efforts to get him to save us. So what hope, then, is there for our salvation? Well, frankly, no hope resides within us. None whatsoever. Ephesians 2:1 says “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins.” That’s how hopeless we are apart from God’s work to save us. You see, all a dead person can do is lay there and be dead, let alone try to be righteous before God.
Just to clarify one thing,
at 13:25, the hadith mentions the Prophet (PBUH) seeks forgiveness and turns to Allah in repentance 70 times a day. NOWHERE is it mentioned or implied that the Prophet (PBUH) sinned 70 time a day. The Prophet (PBUH) was/is free from sins ( just like previous Prophets before him).
Now some might ask "why did he ask for forgiveness if he did not sin?"
Well, that's because the Prophet (PBUH) was/is a humble person, and this act demonstrates his humility.

Repentance isn't about asking lord Allah for forgiveness only when you sinned. It's about showing god the mercy you need from him. Why am I saying this? May His satisfaction be with him, and that he is the first intercessor and will be interceded on the Day of Resurrection, and the Lord of creation..
Al-Qurtubi said in his interpretation of “Al-Jami’ Li Ahkam Al-Qur’an” (20/233): “If it is said: What can be forgiven to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, until he is commanded to seek forgiveness?
It was said to him: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say in his supplication: My Lord, forgive me my sin and my ignorance, and my extravagance in all my affairs, and what you know of. From me. Oh God, forgive me my mistake, my intentionality, my ignorance, and my jest, and all of that. O God, forgive me for what I have done and what I have delayed, and what I have announced and what I have secreted. You are the advancer and you are the latter. You are capable of anything.
So he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to think about himself, because of the greatness of what God had bestowed upon him, and he saw his failure to fulfill that right as sins.
