@@doolanbrian Yes I have Trickle charger but 10 year old so very simple but autostop and reverse protection with it why I'd like to recharge because idle stop and go not working so some one said 12v battery less 80% stop working ?? but my Tucson is Mild hybrid so Im not sure how does it work Mild hybrid battery recharge 12v battery ? how recharge ? safe to recharge with out remove ? If possible advice
@@yoshiyukisuzuki3030 📍idle stop can be regularly unavailable on Tucson as there are many reasons that stop its operation . Your manual will explain them but they include temperate and heating and driving style and conditions. 📌it is my understanding that the 12v battery is charged by the alternator like a regular car 📌I don’t believe you have to remove the battery to trickle it but it is always safer 👍

After jumpstart EV, there is no alternator to recharge the small battery as you drive around, so is my EV just going to go dead again after I push the off button???
@@doolanbrian that’s why I think it’s silly that they didn’t put this feature on it, and then since the engine didn’t even kick on its even more silly that I needed a boost to just turn on the hybrid battery 😂😂

Thanks for the Video, I was able to get going again. only hassle i have now is the amber engine light has stayed on., any hints in resetting this
It may have a low voltage history fault, if it doesn’t self resolve after two or three drives, get it booked in for a quick diagnosis👍

The big traction battery helps to charge the smaller 12v battery once you start driving again . What type of vehicle do you have ??

I’m not sure why, but there must be some reason that they don’t do it on the plug-in hybrid
@@doolanbrian it’s kind of dumb I just jumped mine and the combustion engine didn’t even kick on
@@nyrubin in that case the 12v was low but the traction battery was sufficient so it didn’t need the engine .. that would be my guess.
