My favorite Lisa line- Lisa: I knocked over your mailbox. Ray -*confused*: You don’t even have a car. Lisa: I was power walking…I hit it with my purse.
I love the episode where Roger was desperate for a girlfriend and he talks to a girl who was taller than him and he felt embarrassed but he eventually got over it
I wish you do a funniest scene list for this show because Lisa just kills it especially in the Church scene where she goes over the top trying to impress Trevor's parents causing damage to the church
“Verique”: All I’m looking for is a little love! Lisa (dressed as Tina Turner): What’s love got to do with it!? Ray (dressed as Ike Turner): [Punches “Verique”]
I remember watching this show growing up!! This, along with Moesha, was my tweenhood!! I love Sister, Sister....and Jackée Harris was my mom personified. I miss watching new episodes of this show so much!!😭
VERIQUE THE FREAK was such a powerful eye opening episode. Especially when at that time the internet was basically new & still in 2020 it happens. 🤦🏽♂️
One of my favorite episodes was "Hair Today" when Lisa had a bit of a hard time with her makeover, the way she moved in her body wrap, she screamed when she got her upper lip waxed. Lol. And she ended up being her stylist Henrique's stylist at the end credits. Lol
My grandma recorded these for me on tape when I was little, she passed away recently but she always reminded me of Lisa. Always stylish, beautiful, sweet, funny, and caring mother I miss her dearly r.i.p grandma.
I loved this show, i remember the episode where they find their biological father, and as memory serves it's Tamara that is freaked out because Matt is white. Also, his story was so sad, he fell in love with Rachelle, who never told him she was pregnant and she passed away, and the twins were adopted out because no one believed he was the dad. if they ever do the planned reboot, I really want Matt in the show and both girls have in the intervening years have really built a strong relationship.
@@crisvanfan exactly, he tried to find them, but they weren't married, he had no proof and she wrote to him, but never told him she was pregnant. or put his name down on any documentation that he was their father. he lost the love of his life (he never married and put everything into his career) then he finds out his twin daughters were separated, and adopted by other people and only found each other (and him) by chance. it really is a tragic story
@@Missmagazinebura Oh i knew that the mowry twins are biracial, but it was the surprise moment within the show when they met their father. it always was a shame Matt never became a regular, would have been nice to see a different dynamic. since the show often showed ray and lisa contrasting parenting styles, and bringing in a biological parent into the mix really would have been interesting.
Ms.Mojo should do a top 10 stars you didn’t realize were on Sister, Sister. So far, I’ve seen Brittany Murphy, Gabrielle Union, Taraji P. Henson, Michael Duncan Clark, the Olsen twins, Michael Duncan Clark, the Kid from Kid and Play, and Donald Faison!
I think he was on a few more times. There was the Christmas episode where Ray’s dad is playing Santa, there was the episode with the SAT’s. There was a few others that I can’t think of right now
Cool list. Aww. I remember some of my favorite episodes (besides the mentioned ones) were: - when they took the SATs (insert lightning) and their scores got mixed up - when they learned to drive - when they got a car and drove it up to canada - when Tia and Tyreke got back together - graduation - the sleepover party where one of the girls' boyfriends snuck in
@@HazelDell you spoiled for me too...i just started Season 6 knowing she will have a wedding at the end hoping its ray...and now u spoiled for me ik its not him ☠😭
I'm surprised that the actual moment they discovered their birth father isn't in the list. That was a really powerful moment, particularly Tamera's reaction.
I still binge watch sister sister every day lol I absolutely love sister sister. Reminds me of my childhood and it brings me such warm and cozy feelings.I love so many episodes but one of my tops is when The twins got Lisa’s clothes into he fashion show and they got to walk in the show! I felt like Lisa deserved the recognition. I always get chills when she walks onto stage to receive praises.
my twin sister and i were adopted and separated into different families and i remember being 10 when this came out and being obsessed with it. my dream was to run into her somewhere randomly just like they did.
I LOVE SISTER SISTER 😍😍😍😍🙂👍🏻 My favorite moment or episode in general is when they have have their appendixes taken out and of course when Tamera sings she’s got a beautiful voice and I’m sure Tia does too I Love Those Ladies So Much My whole childhood 😊
My favorite was when Tia and Tamera sank their car in Lake Erie! ‘Nearby campers saw nothing. Though one overheard a girl shouting OH GOSH TIA, MY DAD’s GONNA KILL US! I laugh so hard every time
Monica Nunez Yeah, I kind of understand that. The focus on the boyfriends was probably fresh for the time, but when you’re binging, you’re looking for the girls’ growth, so it’s almost a distraction if it wasn’t for their focus fleshing them out
I grew up watching SisterSister and just started rewatching it since it has come to Netflix. It has definitely aged very well and is still one of the best/moderately realistic teen sitcoms I’ve ever watched. It wasn’t afraid to address very problematic issues while still keeping the humor.
One of my fave moments is the episode wanted to impress her boyfriend, Terrance's parents. When they all went to church, Lisa is so ecstatic that his mother thinks well of her that she dances in the aisle during the choir service, only for her shoe to go flying and create a chain reaction that ends up messing up the church interior!
Lisa definitely deserves her own Top 10 moments. I rewatched the show on Netflix and just finished it yesterday. It was bittersweet but you know what moment had me laughing so hard? The episode where they were robbed by the old couple next door and at the end when Lisa and Ray had to pick them out of the line up and Lisa took the phone and was telling them off and the detective was trying to take the phone back from her and she was wrapping the cord around Ray 💀💀 that scene took me out.
And Lisa was having a conversation with an old friend in the line up and then begins threatening the old couple with her big, mean and lonely friends in prison.
When it came out of Netflix, I introduced it to the younger generation aka my little sister and man is she having a blast! As for me, I'm just re-watching it with her and I get the jokes and the references.
One my favorite scenes was when the roof was about to collapse on Tamera and Lisa pushed her out of the way and then Ray comes jumps off of the roof to get the debri off of her and when he gets her out he tells she is the mother.
My Top 3 favorite Scenes 1. Beverly and The Family Meet (S1 E9) 2. Lisa and Terrance argue over Bridge (S3 E1) 3. Tia and Tamera switch roles on their dates (S3 E13)
I loved watching Sister, Sister growing up! Tia and Tamera were two of my favorites and the show was so funny and it was based in my hometown of Detroit which was so cool! Ray and Lisa made awesome parents and I loved the overall writing and feel of the show.
I may not watch this on Netflix because I don't have Netflix. But I do watch the show from time to time and it's one of the best 90s sitcoms to grow up with. I grew up with this show back in the 90s, even when they shown reruns of it later on. I laughed my head off to so many moments of this show. My favorite episode or so would have to be when Tia and Tamera were having a sleepover with their friends and one of them snuck a boy in there when the boy turned out to be someone who was the love interest of one of their friends but her parents didn't want her dating him just because he did something to express his love for her by spray painting on a wall that he loves the girl. That episode was super funny.
very very great fun list I like it a lot great job mis mojo one of my very favorite list ever sister sister is one of the very best tv shows ever with a great cast
This show is such a timeless classic!!! The only thing is I wish Alexis Fields character didn’t darken her skin with makeup to resemble Harriet Tubman in the “I Have A Dream” episode. The message still would have gotten across. If I have young daughters I definitely will rewatch this show with them!

“That girl has my face!” Honestly, this line is absolutely glorious. 🥰
When Tia, Tamera and Roger perform "Do You Love Me" will forever be one of my all time favorite episodes of the show.
what is the episode they sung "Do You Love Me"
@@karenallen5552 I don’t remember the exact episode but it’s early in the series

My favorite episode was when they graduated. Roger singing was always the best.
Right?! 😭
Loved how tamera was jealous of tia and ray's growing relationship to the point she imagines ray leaving her for tia.
Watched the whole series on Netflix with my daughter!!! Over and over again lol
My favorite Sister, Sister episode is the Grass is Always Finer. And I loved that choreographed dance number Tia did with Brian McKnight.
They should've put when Roger saves Tia and Tamera's party on the list or at least an honourable mention.
That is one of the prime episodes that I watch along with Slumber Party.
My favorite moment from Sister Sister Tamara went to camp fire girls to get some badges so she can go to college.
That was one of my favourite episodes

My favorite moment was when Tamera and Jordon danced to Play Another Slow Jam, but they changed the song on Netflix for some reason.
IKR? Maybe copyright? cuz a show I liked had a song from a group and it was changed!
They supposedly changed it before it went on Netflix for copyright reasons
I knew I wasn’t tripping! I was waiting for them to play it
Same. Also the bow wow song in the graduation episode.
