How did you miracle the fan clutch off? Either I mix something or mines completely different. This is the third different one I found. How many different ones are there all from 1997 to 2006?
I don't know what year you are working on but that is not what a 2000 Wrangler TJ looks like at all. On the water pump you have to remove the fan with a big nut coming from the clutch. The water pump looks nothing like that one and you can't loosen the belt with some nut by the power steering. This is completely wrong for a 2000 TJ 4.0
This was very helpful, thank you for your time and expertise. One note, I replaced my Radiator at the same time as the water pump and Thermostat on my 2001 2.5L. Much bigger fan housing. Hint. If you separate the housing from the radiator and push it toward the engine over the fan, you can get to the 6 bolts that hold in the radiator in place. (auto transmission will have cooling lines going to the lower reservoir of the radiator that will need to be removed.) You can lift the radiator out and then remove the large fan housing. Before you loosen the the serpentine belt, You will have great access to remove the fan bolts and studs with resistance from the belt, so you don't need to do this on a table vice. :) Hope this helps.

Just a heads up, on my 2006 Rubicon the fan actually screwed onto the water pump and I needed a Fan Clutch Holder tool to remove the fan and shroud.
You guys are awesome for making this

What I'd like to know is the name and brand of those large pliers that are being used.
Thanks Dude. Very thorough. 👍🏾🇺🇸

I always thought you were supposed to replace the pulleys and tensioners along with the belts with this job?
Thank you!
