Finally a foam cannon advertising video that clearly said you need to do the 2 bucket wash method to wash the car better.
I see so many videos of people who have no idea what they're doing when foaming their cars. You did it correctly, it was satisfying
What is the wrong way to do it?
Andy Jung scrubbing with a single bucket. The grime and dirt are abrasive and will swirl the paint
Niko Delmedico 0piinVietnam

Okoo
This is so satisfying to watch, nice thick consistency and the foam doesn't flow off as immediately as other videos. Just as if you're icing sugar a sweet dessert.
Great video, many thanks for no waffle and getting straight to the point, I wish more videos were like this!
Threw my no name cannon in the bin Bowdens cannon is real solid works extremely well for $79 on sale and big bottle of foam for $50 it’s worth every cent, the ones having a cry about price you do get what you pay for,I have most of Bowdens range there cloths and cleaners are some of the best I have ever used
I really like , how you start washing your car from top and then come to bottom. Some people don't know how to wash the car. You are great.
You started off so good applying the foam from the bottom to the top in order to let the foam sit longer in the dirtier low regions.
But when rinsing the car you got it all wrong. The reasons why you should rinse from bottom to the top are two:
1) The foam should cover the suface when rinsing cause it carries the dirt away in a better way. The foam is designed to lift the dirt up from the paint job and absorb it in the foam.
(in other words)
The foam covers the suface to loosen up the dirt and contain it.
The high pressure washer beam works like a brush and when rinsing, it carries the dirt away (shoots it away)
2) When rinsing from the top first the water runs down the lower parts and it's easy to miss a spot when you can't see where you have rinsed.
Starting from the bottom rinsing horisontally line by line working yourself up you'll always keep track where to rinse.
Yes, rinsing from bottom to the top takes more time and water, but this is the way professionals do for the reasons stated above.
I've got a lot of angry replies. Why?
(edit, which for some reason now are deleted)
I actually just want to adress the right way to do it. Some seems to be obsessed with this guy Bowden.
You know, he could be wrong.
I've listed exactly why you should rinse from bottom to top.
There are so many arguments that doesn't make any sense :
"....leaves swirls and micro scratches....."
Listen people and stop being so hostile. We're all here cause we love snow foaming or?
I don't know how to convince you.
The reasons why you should rinse from bottom to the top: (in other words)

@@acke26 lol he ain't wrong
I'm a detailer
I can confirm this
@@nynteen90- just cause you work as a detailer doesn't guarantee anything. I'm a mechanical engineer that also got a degree in chemistry.
If you can't explain or dement what I've written it doesn't add anything to this topic.
Have you really read what I have written?
Note that I'm not talking about hand washing a car mechanically. When you wash a car by hand you're removing the dirt mechanically. Then off course you should just rinse from top to bottom.
Obviously that's not just the most time efficient way it also saves water. In this case all the dirt is already loosened up by the force of your hand.
What I've written about is when using a contactless prewash foam.
bought one of these, attached to my Karcher which operates at 1700psi. Used as instructed. All I got was light suds no matter what. Is it dependant on water hardness?
drA1970 you have to adjust foam guns top nob to mix how much water to be mixed .
Finally someone who washes it off top to bottom

@acke @ 2:26 he specifically states you are to wash the car from top to bottom.
I don't know why your here trying to sound like a pro and are telling people to do the complete opposite of the video. Also Bowden own's that product i think if anything we are gonna listen to him rather then a random persons incorrect youtube comment. I don't know who told you all that info but you're flat out 100% wrong.
You work from top to bottom. Not bottom to top. Why? Because the dirt and grime that wash's off is abrasive. Spraying water from bottom to top pushs that dirt and grime back up, which leaves swirls and micro scratches on the body. So you're full of shit. No, Rinsing from to top takes way more time, energy and resources when you could do it properly like a pro. and just do what Bowden suggests. Washing from top to bottom. Considering the guy in the video... WHich is DAN BOWDEN... Btw... HE invented that product so i really am confused as to why you feel the need to drop such an unnecessary whilst liking it. I don't know who taught you all that info but you're 100% wrong and i sure hope you don't go using products like this with such carless wastage and no thoughts on the actual process.
This is so satisfying to watch..
what pressure washer do you use
What adapter is that and can it be used on any pressure washer?
How would you guys go around servicing these cannons? On my 5th one this year already and every time I service them they turn out even worse
what Gerni are you using it with?
Overall good advise well delivered ...and a trip around the block if you can is spot on ...I find after a jet wash water just sits in places you can't get to even with something like a leaf blower.
Instead of driving the car around the block to help drying, use a leaf blower to remove the water.
Does it only work on an Audi or can you use it on other manufactures as well?
Nah Audi only. Prolly will work on a bmw. Nothing less though lol
R u joking?
@@KasamS Honestly i dont know about steve. I was joking but who knows. May be a bit slow
Most cars have a waterproof wax sealant which can not be dissolved or rubbed off
This product work with every car that has a wax sealant
Is you chose to wash your car with car soap, notice on the back it will say if it washes of wax or not. Btw dishwashing liquid washes it off
So depending on how well you want to clean it
It works on all cars
SuperSteveDunn only on grey Audi’s mate
what brand of pressure washer is it?
What’s a good brand of pressure washer to use with a gun and soap
I used this as a present from the misses....it’s awesome and definitely worth buying everyone. Love it and it’s really makes the ceramic coating on my car act like new
I swear by bowden's they have great products and alot of research development goes into every product I won't use anything else
one of the most satisfying foam cannon video on youtube unfortunately $100 buks @SCA
So you don't rinse down first with the pressure washer then foam???
Hello@Supercheap Auto, would you like to review the new MJJC foam cannon pro? Thanks.
Will this fit on ryobi RPW140-G or do I need special adapter?
supercheap sell an adaptor i believe
Yup I got one
So many people have taken their cars for a quick drive to only get booked by cops, so what ever you do, if you have a freeway which has a 110KM speed limit, drive you car to get on a HWY/ freeway that way you will remove most of the stagnate water and other away from those areas, like in the door jams etc, but still if you can afford it get a little air gun with the right fitting and just blow away any water or products away from those spots, or open all the doors rear hatch and use a microfiber towel to safety remove any water/ dirt away, also do not forget that a lot of the water tends to be sitting inside the doors, so that when you go for a drive a lot of the water tends to go away, but most of it will stay inside the doors, which is why its a good idea to open all the doors and let the water drop away and or wipe away any excess water in those areas. cheers :)
I think with the foam is on the car start bottom first working your way upward..notice that the foam just washed away when rinsing from the top,
Thanks, your spot on!

Guter Schaum.
Good snowfoam.

Thumps up.
Danke
Thank you
Will it attach to Bosch EasyAquatec 120?
Shouldn’t you rinse the car before applying the snow foam?
Is the soap available in the United States?
Do I need to rinse the foam out first then wash the car with the two bucket method? Or can I just foam and start cleaning it with the foam still on vehicle?
Hi MM Kid, We recommend rinsing the car before hand washing. The prefoam method dissolves most the dirt into the foam so you can blast the dirt off easier, then you can clean your car afterwards with minimal dirt scratching your paintwork. - Ash
My stock vp single spinning weapon takes off harder than that
So satisfying to watch
Don't forget to be careful when you drive your car shortly after washing. Your brakes may be less responsive especially if the rotors are still soapy.
Like the part when you took your number plate off and launched it.
I once sold a wash system for the foaming gun called Blow Job, turns out a lot of people wanted the B.J, but I am actually a detailer.
Its-Me Anthony Are you sure you are only a detailer, or are you moonlighting too? ;p
You would assume with a name like Supercheap Auto then the products would be well priced. $100 Au for a most probably imported foam gun and $55 Au for 2 liters of spray foam. Well done.

I am from Portugal how I can adequerir this product do sendings parà Portugal
What model is your pressure wahser?
Que maquina es la que utilizan para lavar??
Does it work with Ryobi?
Is this product available in South Africa?
Hello. Can you use the snow foam for the touch wash as well, after the touchless?
Hi Duane, thanks for your question. We recommend that you blast away the first foam stage to remove the dirt and grime off the paint to start with, then you can apply a second snow foam coat and this then would be fine to touch wash. - Ash
Thank you Ash.
Do you need to wax the car before using the foam then??
RUclips inquiry Yep. Wax the dirty car then foam and then throw dirt on it again .
@@ppal64 lool
The car was from the first clean. How do we know the effect
Do these work on other pressure washers beside gerni and karcher?
Yes mate, you just need to get the right adapter to suit the pressure washer that you're using.
@@BowdensOwn where do you get these adapters for the pressure washer? I have a ryobi pressure washer and would love to get this to fit!
Bro wht u use air compressor or water pump
why in every video im watching people advertising snow foams .. All the bloody cars there cleaning are CLEAN
indeed they advertise the foam and not it's properties so it is useless
More than half the population that washes their car this way are car enthusiast’s.. meaning we was our cars weeklly or every two weeks. There are videos of off-roading vehicles who get muddy and messy being washed the same way if you want to see the product in action. It will definetly require some scrubing but for us guys who wash cars regularly might require some but in most cases none.
@@209FlyBoy I am a car enthusiasts too but I live in rural Ireland. One wash and a day later its like you never washed it...lol
@@gerardhealy2110 Well, that’s a you problem! Which I get. I used to do 1000ks a week for years and didn’t bother washing it because of your reason. 3 days later, it looks the same as it did 4 days ago! lol.
Clean is a matter of perspective.
The cars that you say are already “clean” are not. The difference between a genuinely “clean” car is its easier to maintain. If you can see its genuinely dirty, it’s LONG overdue for a wash. To keep your car looking good you need to clean and detail it regularly. Which I only just started to genuinely appreciate.
I bought a 14 year old car a few weeks back, and inside & out it looks like it rolled new off the lot the lot the day I bought it. 2000ks later after weeks of diving in wet / dry / wet / dry conditions, compared to when I bought it, it’s filthy. But I’ve had so many comments saying “it’s clean”.
And compared to my previous cars, in its current “dirty” state it’s far cleaner than my previous cars.
Like I said it’s a matter of perspective.
I’m confused
Why foam it up, rinse it, and wash it again?
I was under the impression that the foam WAS the wash
I thought this :P
Hi Darth, Thanks for your question. The idea behind the Bowden's Own Snow Job is to lift the initial loose dirt, dust & harsh paint scratching contaminants without damaging the paint before cleaning stuck on dirt with a brush or sponge. Doing this will improve chances at keeping your paint scratch free. - Ash
Donald West you are under the wrong impression
I bought Karcher foam container, 2 actually, but non of them makes such foam with Karcher K7. Why is that? Thanks!
Do i need anti-lag at the end?
wow nice could you use on your outside windows at home
The car is being flowed from the floor to the top... Otherwise, water washes away... Logical 👍

Sorry, just bought one of these foam cannons and used it exactly as shown on this video, on a reasonably dirty, been out on a wet road type grime, not mud. It was a complete waste of time. When I looked at the paint after the rinse it was just the same, the dirt was still on the paint exactly the same as when I started, it removed nothing that a garden house wouldn't have done. I don't expect all the dirt to come off just because you put some foam soap on it, but this did absolutely nothing. The Bowden's Nanolicious Wash was quite good, but is expensive, left a nice finish, like a wax, I'd buy that again, but as for the foam cannon that's nothing but a big time wasting wank.

Seems like a lot of cost and effort to have to then wash the car anyway (the method that has been used ever since cars were invented), hard pass.
If it was truly a handless free wash and a normal wash wasn't needed (as in the product was much better than currently is) then perhaps it may be worth it, but not in its current state, not by a long shot.
Only people with too much time and money on their hands would purchase this product in its current state.
No need for towl to dry it?
Hi Aboalmlk, Thanks for your question. As this is a Pre-wash, this is then followed by washing the car by hand then drying. - Ash
