- When Michael's boyhood voice changed, he couldn't perform for about a year. Then, when his voice was ready, he recorded his second CD, the Italian one. To promote the CD there was a second Video Concert planned. "Anna Maria" is one of the six songs from that second video concert. It is from a Helmut Lotti concert in Genk Belgium, in 2001, during Helut's "Latino Love Songs" period (you'll notice the Mexican chorus.) The project was intended for broadcast by PBS and other world outlets. The plan was to record half the album onstage live, and the rest as music videos from on location in Italy. The first "live" half of the project was completed. Then Michael went to Italy for the publicity photo shoot and to film the music videos. In the middle of this, the project was cancelled by his management. The six on-stage videos are all that is left of the second Concert Video Project and have never been released before.

Totally agree with person below think its B I only discovered his music last week been listening and watching ever since what a star and so glad he’s happily married with beautiful wife and little daughter life and music has been good to him. God bless you Michael you deserve all gods blessings and for your family. And by the way Michael has not stopped singing as much but still going strong. Big thanks for all the pleasures.
His singing voice became better, I love listening to his enchanting singing voice and to his glamorous smile
This is how Michael will be remembered: a handsome teenager with a great singing voice. The real Michael is now a middle-aged man living in his native Flanders with a wife, two children and a regular job. He left us wanting more. That's life!
He is 38 now, not exactly middle aged :) Sad that this young man's career was cut short before he had a chance to show his talent.

Actually, Michael is 15 or 16 in this concert. It was to promote his second CD album at a Helmut Lotti Concert.
@@FrankPerryJR is there a video anywhere of Michael singing Che Sara? It has become one of my favourites from his CD Musica e la Vita because of its poignancy.
Way back when the album was new, Piet Roelens did record Michael onstage singing many of the songs on the "Musica e La Vita" album, but not all of them. "Che Sara" was one of the songs recorded in concert for a proposed video. Michael's father gave me a copy of that unfinished concert, but it has become corrupted. I was only able to upload a couple songs, one of which is "Anna Maria" you see here. Roelens never did release that second Video Album. I don't think, but don't know either, but I doubt that Michael's music will ever be rereleased.

I listen to this over and over. I have no idea what he is singing. Nichael Junior is amazing!

I am impressed ! It seemed as Michael survived puberty. I do hope that he will continue to record and bring his voice once again to the public. Many boy trebles do not for many reasons continue singing into adulthood but I am happy to hear Michael once again and singing in his "new" voice ! :-)
I continually go back to listening to Michael. What a pity that we don't see him any more, he was such a great performer. Probably one of the best ever of his type.
Bill Wileman Michael will be 29 years old later this month. (April, 2015) He is married and has one daughter about 2 years old now. He no longer performs.

I first saw Michael Jr when he sang panaceangelicus duet with helmet Lottie helmutlati is a talent no doubt and Michael Jr was so impressing and it's such a young age it's my understanding he's just 35 years old these days but I never really heard much more about them after that and it's angelicus duet in this video other than his hair being darker his voice is still there I don't know why he hasn't done been more appearances

I can't find the lyrics for this gorgeous song, or anyone else who sings it, so I conclude it must have been written by Helmut Lotti. He wrote some fabulous songs that get scant appreciation, such as Friends, Ich liebe dich, etc. Michael Verschuere may have inspired some. Sad, that he lost his brother and his desire to sing. Rosita Quiroga didn't let age stop her singing. She sang into her eighties.
I have many of the songs he wrote on his albums, The Crooners double CD album has 12 of his songs, the earlier CD In Love With You has all his songs, albums Memory and Romantic have his songs, there are some of his songs on his Goes Classic albums, one of them a beautiful song he wrote after the death of his friend called I don't Know Why, there are his songs on his Faith, Hope and Love album, on his Comeback album and his Italian Songbook album. He also wrote lyrics to most of his classical music based songs and English lyrics to arias from operas as well as to the music from Swan Lake. He also wrote a theme song From Russia with Love for his DVD. Also English lyrics to some Latino songs and to Russian songs like Kolokolchik, Vecherni Zvon, to music of Anton Rubinstein, to a song from Borodin's Price Igor and more. They get plenty of appreciation at all his sold out concerts

Most of the songs are the same titles as we've seen so many places. So I'm not sure it's necessary to post them all. But I do plan to post at least one more of the songs from what I call "The Unfinished Concert." (One of the six became corrupted somewhere along the way, so that probably will never be posted.)

"The same titles...."Are you saying that the other three from this set are posted elsewhere, or that the other three are songs that he has recorded when he was younger and have been posted? If it is the latter, then I would hope that you might reconsider. Michael's voice as it developed brought a different life to his songs. I never cease to be amazed how, someone who is gifted with a voice that shines at each level that it moves through has not received the support that he deserves. You mention that the series was curtailed. Is there now known what reason there was for this? And thank you for providing the vehicle for Michael's work to be seen and heard.
Graeme, I just meant that of the set Michael did record for the intended second PBS Special (6 songs) I was going to post only the two I did ("Anna Maria" and "Non Ho L'Eta") because they were "new" songs. The other four from that set were songs I had already posted from later recordings and that have been posted many times on You Tube from various TV appearances Michael did in Germany, Belgium, and The Netherlands. In case you are interested, the other songs (that I have but don't think it's worth posting for this reason) are, by the way, "Volare", "Roberta", "Ciao, Ciao Bambina", and "Azurro". I absolutely agree that it is terribly disappointing that Michael, with his talent, has not gotten the support that he deserves.
Frank, If these other four are recorded at the same time as"Anna Maria" and "Non Ho L'Eta" then they will have a different sound. The songs are the same, yet Michael's voice and presentation change along the way. Each time taking the listener on a new journey. Please reconsider.
Michael obviously enjoys singing. The tapes that he did at home give an insight into how much. Perhaps if he looks again at Presley's Comeback Special, he will see that singing for oneself is the most important thing, and that when you do, the results are enduring. Hopfully Michael will continue to sing and share the results through the likes of RUclips. He has a strong support base I believe.

By the way, did you notice that Michael himself posted a message in response to the Eddy's Club VOLARE below a couple weeks ago? He also posted a personal note to me but I can no longer find that message, perhaps he deleted it.

Where is Michael now and is he singing at all? He should be. He was definitely born to be a singer! I love to listen to him sing this song. I could listen to it all day long. I have the Dreamland video that he made when he was 9 years old. The date on it is 2000 so he should be about 26 years old now. If he is still singing or has any other cds or albums out, I would sure like to know about it. I think I also have a cd of Dreamland.
Michael no longer sings. He is 31 years old, married and has a daughter about 4 or 5 years old. He did have a second CD called "La Vita e la Musica" that this song "Anna Maria" comes from.

When he did the dreamland he was 12 years old. and when he went in tour around the world with Helmut Lotti, he was 13 years old. he was a charming boy .

да, материал как голос хороший, но для большого успеха, как был. надо искать хорошего маэстро, типа Мелокки, который знает толк в эволюции голоса, и работать лет 10...потом вернуться на сцену снова.....но с новым грандиозным голосом....надо есль есть желание выковывать новый шикарный голос
Мне показалось, что голосовые связки уже повреждены (как у Робертино Лоретти). Крайняя скрипачка справа (блондинка с локонами), которую периодически закрывает дирижёр,- его мама. Похоже, семья "загнала" его (кстати, его бабка- оперная певица; это она поставила Майклу невероятный boy alto).
