- This show was recorded in Athy Co Kildare. I remembered it being a very wet and windy night, but the show went on. The Reunion Show uses the film from this show. It was a great and Joe at his best.
Great to see new fans just discovering Joe and his great band. I've followed him since the 60s! Now an oul lady of 77 and still need a daily dose of Joe. Danced to him in the 60s and then later ALL his shows in my home town of Belfast. Welcome new fans to Joe's incredible voice and personality. Enjoy!! 👋👏

Love this . He brings so many memories back to me in those golden days when I a young teenager in the 60s in Derry and going to Borderland in Co Donegal on a Friday night to hear him. We had no idea how lucky we were back then to listen to the Irish showbands ,how lucky were we! God be with those wonderful days.
One of tha saddest nights when news broke that Joe Dolan died thought he was going to be around for ever.
