    Denver Nuggets can’t squander the opportunity of having Jokic. He is not getting younger.

      Nikola is good naïve loyal kid but this is the point for his manager to wake him up if he wants to have successful carrier Denver Nuggets from this point out are going down.
      Reality is if he stays with DN he will spend the rest of his carrier to contributing to develop new players so Denver can sell them to championship teams (in other words they will milk Nikola Jokic prime for player development)
      Nikola give everything to Denver but unlike Spurs or Mavs or Miami or Lakers they didnt support him and he w8sted 3 of 4 years of his prime..So now what after losing KCP this year what real future is there for him on this team..(player development ?)

    • @AbcDino843
      @AbcDino843 3 месяца назад

      @@BoskoBanovic people are talking about the loss of KCP like it's some major event, like if they won the championship with him, and can't do it again without him. That's dealing with the fourth or fifth issue by priority and ignoring the most important one, which is that Nuggets need an upgrade of Murray, give Jokic a "Kyrie". Let Murray go.

    • @AbcDino843
      @AbcDino843 3 месяца назад

      @@BoskoBanovic sure, and Jokic will milk them for hundreds of millions of dollars. Does he care about the championships that much at all? He seems happy, not chasing basketball legacy but enjoying his other interests more. It's a hard but cushy job for him, a great deal of pressure is taken off from him by not providing him with a fully competent team. Considering that he has the worst no 2 guy, and no all star talent on the roster, he is carrying his team more than anyone else in the league and can do no wrong.

    When Denver watched Jokic's video, did they know he would be this kind of player. Denver needs to take a player who knows how to dribble and can make his way to the basket - no matter which position

      Because they’re nothing alike. Zeke’s not a good basketball player. Holmes is closer to Kelly Olynyk than he is Zeke. Nnaji. We need guys that can dribble, pass, and shoot. Holmes is above average (for a PF/C) in all departments.

  • @ephenseagal2581
    @ephenseagal2581 3 месяца назад

    This is disappointing. Really feels like more homework should have been done prior to this pod.
    Homles is 236lbs, not 200lbs. Holmes is also a very good basketball player (+dribble, ++pass, ++shoot) that happens to be 6’10”. Comparing him to Zeke Nnaji, who has never been a good basketball player (- -dribble, - -pass, -shoot) is terrible. Anyone looking to this pod for insight on Holmes is walking away with a very skewed perspective.
    Holmes is the perfect backup center for this team. Like ideal. Better than anyone, outside of Olynyk (the real comp) that I can think of. He’s intelligent enough to facilitate in the Nuggets system (2.6apg), talented enough to go out and get a bucket (20ppg), and versatile enough to slot in next to Jokic when AG sits and Nuggets need a different look, due to his (sneaky) athleticism and high BBIQ.
    When someone says “this is a terrible draft” I can immediately tell they haven’t looked for themselves and are parroting the national narrative. This I a poor draft for tanking teams (no projectable superstars). This is a great draft for Win now talent.
    Give me DaRon Holmes II as a backup big, Baylor Scheierman as a secondary ball handler/connective piece, Tristen Newton as a backup guard, Dillon Jones, Ajay Mitchell, and a couple of guys that pulled out of the draft last minute (Trevon Brazille).
    There’s maybe one guy, due to the cap restraints, that’d be work trading this FRP for and if we were guaranteed Holmes, wouldn’t make that trade. Nick Richards is the only guy we can get that’s young enough and talented enough to send this pick out in, and Holmes is better.

    They just need to draft Edey.... you would never have to worry about the bench scoring, and the opponent's bench is getting blocked all day. Who cares that he can't shoot 3s... or isn't high endurance... he only needs to play 10 minutes.

    Just to give you some numbers, 21-22 AG 11% at C, 22-23 8%, 23-24 10%...so it's all very similar, it's not like 23 he didn't play there at all, and in 24 he played there all the time (21-22 is Murray sitting out year, so it's all weird, AG was only other starter on the roster, on the other hand the had Cousins for the second part of the season)

  • @BoskoBanovic
    @BoskoBanovic 3 месяца назад +5

    1st: Basically they (Denver Nuggets) what from Jokic to develop new bunch of players (rookies) so he could win championship in 4 or 5 years :D
    2nd: If you lose KCP this year you would be first round exit in playoffs (you will get to playoffs Jokic is good enough to carry you)
    3rd : Vogt Jamal and MPJ : Reality after catastrophically injury's ACL and 3BS they will get worse not better next year less explosive less strength more injury prone the older they get.Also its not 2018-9 its 2024 they are what they are developed players.
    4th : I really hope that Denver Nuggets explain to Jokic that they are player development organization not championship org like Spurs Mavs Lakers Miami they are more like Rockets Hornets D their organization that sell players to championship team orgs..He Jokic will not be able to win one more championship with them at list till 2027 MPJ contract expired and after he is out of his prime..

    • @UraStr
      @UraStr 3 месяца назад

      I like AG...he's actually great, great defensively, great synergy with Jokic and overall exactly the piece you need on offense, he's all star caliber player in his role...Murray and MPJ 2 of the 10 worse contracts in the league

  • @UraStr
    @UraStr 3 месяца назад +3

    Wondering when will they figure it out...only competent player Nuggets have is Jokic. That's why the second center never succeeds, he always plays with 4 bench caliber players, that is if he's lucky and he's not playing with g league players. Murray on any other team, is likely a back up starting point guard, or Jordan Pool type starter

    Murray 27, MPJ 25,26 years old. Both of them missed 1 or 2 seasons because of injury. I think this 2 players can be lot better and I think they will. Murray is lazy but he has that competitive dog talking shit in him and perfect adition to Jokic.
    I understand that many are mad because last season but Denver only need to find 2 avrage players for bench with the rookies and they will win again. Jordan as backup center can play if he has guy( pg or sg) who knows how to handle the ball with penatration and pass.
    Minnesota only stop Denver becuse no one scored form 3s and they could colapse the paint and stop Jok. So 1 shooting handle guy(quality player) and 1 big (can be good rookie with Jordan) that is what Denver needs. Cancar is also back and he can go with Jok in rotation and move AD on center if is needed, do not forget Cancar is good player.
    I think Denver will win 2 or 3 more with this core if Murray and MPJ improve.
    Do not forget Jokic is loyal guy, he do not like changes, he will stick for Murray, MPJ and Malone. Good luck convincing Jok to get rid of them....
