I wondered last year why Turpin didn't get more receiving plays. This guy gets the ball he'll juke right out of your shoes and he's gone. Been a Cowboys fan for 58 years, and this season really has excited. Keep up the great work young man. Looking forward to next post. You just got a new sub.😊
If I remember he didn’t get a actual training camp last year coming from the USFL during the second preseason game when he scored those 2 td’s. So they couldn’t really see him put work in early as an actual slot receiver. I was sad he didn’t get an actual shot last year either hopefully dude has a breakout season & contributes this year all for the new speed with K9 & Cooks plus TP in the backfield 🔥🔥
Turp had just came in and picked up after playing in the other league before coming to Dallas that was beyond the 17 weeks he played before getting a chance to come to Dallas
I was wondering too but when he got to Dallas he played an entire season so he essentially played 2 season last year so maybe they didn't want to throw too much on him.
Fred biletnikoff had a 4.70 40-yard - Jalen Brooks 4.69. I think a lot of people conclude that that isn't NFL type speed but like biletnikoff said speeds only a small part of being a good receiver !
Cris Carter, ..Rod Smith Antwann Bouldin Jr, there's been several productive 4.7 speed guys in NFL - Patrick Crayton was not a pro bowler, nor a speed burner but he had a productive Cowboys career for someone that was a 4.7 speed guy.
Hey at least Schoonmaker is in pads and going through the motions. Hopefully we see something productive from him if anything at all in the preseason games. Also im officially in panic mode about Zach Martin. where the heck is he!?
I'm hesitant to get excited about Turpin and Deuce. The thing that keeps popping up in my head is that these two guys are so darn small! We all know how barbaric this game is and it has some MASSIVE guys! But, on the other hand, they are super quick and fast! I wish them well and hope they flourish! Every time they get the ball, I'll be on the edge of my seat! DC4L! Go Cowboys!
What difference does it make how small a player is when smaller players have proved over the history of the league that they belong it isn’t etched in stone that the bigger the better no matter how big or small you can’t measure a man’s ❤
Darren sproles was Tiny & played with tremendous heart his entire career! It’s not all about size anymore in the league but about speed, quickness & the ability to provide for your team! I hope they both have a great year regardless 🔥💙

Offense looking good Looking good but I'm looking for cowboys defense 👀 pushing that pocket back on the opposing Quarterbacks and running backs relentlessly. He don't have a pocket and the RB can't run. You wanna be competitive. Now thats 💯 competitive.
