Meant what I said, loved conquest back in the day and despite the fact they are wildly different games, the mechanics look amazing and the feel (weapons and interactions) look SOOOO well done. I think this is a winner for sure! Cannot wait to show the community more!
This video started randomly playing for me after another, i was going to initially comment the beard looks good, then I had a laugh realizing this wasn't the Manor Lords review you posted recently, but you were getting hyped for it MONTHS ago!

I can't wait for falling Frontier to come out. I've heard it's been delayed again, probably not coming until 2025. That said, you can't rush Greatness. One of the reasons why so many video games are disappointing is because they are made by large corporations which often cut corners and sacrifice on quality just to slap out a product and make sales. More often then not they rush games out and don't allow their creative team to take the kind of time it takes to make something truly great. That's why you don't get the kind of amazing games most people want because to truly make something amazing, something that looks awesome, has an interesting backstory, great game mechanics and is a blast to play can't be rushed. But if you have a game being made by someone who just wants to make an awesome video game and isn't working on someone else's artificial time table then you can get games that are truly amazing. The catch is these kinds of Diamonds in the Rough take more time, they aren't getting the kind of super funding a giant corporation can provide that has considerable resources and hundreds of coders and graphic artists on file. I do think Falling Frontier will be a Game Changer. It will prove that truly amazing games can come from people with limited means but who have unlimited imagination and drive!
I cannot agree with this enough! Super well said! I hope they take all the time they need to nail it because it can and looks like it will really have a splash on the industry!
@@Bearant i’ve been following this game’s development for more than a year, and just from what I’ve seen without knowing anything else I would buy the game tomorrow if it were out, I like the music at least the music I heard in the clips they released. I love the graphics I love the gameplay, I love the concepts. I have no doubt it’s gonna be an awesome game. I also know it will be finished. When something is your passion and your life’s work you put your heart and soul into it, something the big developers don’t have. I’m a Scifi Writer So I know a little bit about inspiration and the power and drive it gives you to strive for greatness. When you love your work it’s not really work and when it’s a project you love working on you don’t mind putting in the extra time to make sure everything works and your fully satisfied with the result. I have no doubt this guy enjoys doing what he’s doing so it’s a safe bet he will see it through to the end. That’s why I’m not really concerned with delays, they happen. The James Webb space telescope was delayed by many years, but in the end it launched and it’s currently orbiting the planet taking pictures of distant stars, Avatar 2 was delayed by more than 10 years, but in the end it came out. He’ll eventually get it done I’m sure of it and it will be fantastic when he does. No doubt in my mind.
I definitely agree across the board, how long have you been writing? Many books out or still fine tuning your magnum opus? I’ve read a few in the sci fi genre but they can be hit and miss! Hard genre to nail!

I LOVED the original, especially for some of the god tier mods! The big thing holding me back here is it feels like there hasn’t been enough evolution between 1 and 2. Still watching though and likely will grab when it eventually hits steam!
@@Bearant the best would be a Age of Mythology 2, and for total war to return to form (warhammer is great but lets move on already after an end times dlc)
My girlfriend loved age of mythology I never got around to it. Even as a total war nerd (I own the warhammer ones) I haven’t found time for them yet. Full time work and trying to be a content creator definitely destroys time haha
Yeah there was some talk of a late 2024 release/or alpha but it’s looking locked in early 2025 now. Very sad, though rather the delay and have a complete game any day! We can still hope they pull it back.
