I love watching these videos--until it comes to the letter D. For some reason, everyone draws the capital D like it deflated. Why can't the body of a D be full and rounded like all the other letters?

With all the scroll work done outside of the letter, it matches all the other letters in size. If it were made fatter, it would dwarf the other letters and look wrong.
