cool video. Titling could be improved but, it's good to know the operating mechanics of what's required to operate a spyder.
What a nice design! They put the horn beside the hand brake, in case I want to press it altogether
I like the Can-Am Spyders, but I think I would miss shifting gears and leaning in the curves. I will get one when I turn 55 y.o.
Believe me, you still need to lean into bends. The machine doesn't lean over, but you still need to put your weight into the corner or it gets very scary very quickly!

I don't know about you guys, but I would love to owned one of those. At least, it will be awesome to have one so I can cruise anywhere I want to go. If I'm lucky, I would love to ride on down on Interstate 85 all the way to Charlotte, NC.

I considered buying an F3 for commuting purposes, plus parking would be much closer to my work building. Then I saw the mileage. I don't understand how 4 cylinder cars are more fuel efficient.
I get near 30mpg at 60mph. With a 7 gallon tank, I fuel very 3 hours, and It makes for a nice break.
This. It's BS. Smaller engine only 800lbs and only getting 30 mpg. Something isn't right. In the 80's a motorcycle got 200mpg and he was third place in a national competition.

oh yea, for sure it accelerates harder than my 300! and that feeling in itself is incredible. As for the motorcycle acceleration it compares to, I asked some of my buddies for their opinions and they said probably the CBR600rr or perhaps even the CBR1000. Hope this helps

Does anybody know if you can switch out the controls so all the buttons and gears can go to the right instead of the left
Bad idea. Right hand is throttle. Left hand is better for controls, I do wish it had a left hand brake for the front wheels.
I really like Can Am spiders but wish they offered a full manual transmission with a manual clutch just like on a motorcycle! I like to shift myself. I would think Can Am would realize most or alot of people would want this.
The Spyder F3 SM6 is full manual. But most people like the SE6 better. You still shift it, but it shifts faster, and you can keep your feet planted.

It wont fit in a truck. Don't buy anything older than 2013. That's when they changed the motor. 2015 to 2019 is the best.

All engines have a clutch. Spyders don’t have a clutch lever. It’s a centrifugal clutch.
