Thanks for a very nice video, didn't even notice you being quiet when you were unloading bales, was just a joy seeing you drive that telehandler so well. Also, always nice when you feature the tdub.
GGGGGGeorgey-boi!!!!! Double clutch the old girl (clutch in, out of gear, clutch out, rev if shifting down but don't if shifting up, clutch in, into the next gear, clutch out). Then you won't have the grinding! So again, if shifting up, clutch in, out of gear, clutch out, clutch in, into next gear, clutch out. If shifting down, clutch in, out of gear, clutch out, rev to match the rpm for the next gear, just give her some beans for a second, clutch in, into gear, clutch out. The shift shouldn't take hardly any longer and all of those steps should be one smooth, fast-ish motion. Also, make sure when you're bringing the clutch in and out, that it engages and disengages every time. Just trying to help you out shifting the old beauty.
Out n about farming with George.....what can be better. Yeah George weather playing havoc with harvest atm, but it always gets done. Had a great couple of days last weekend with the Nuffield at the show :)
2:40 haha I rember myself in that situation when I was a little kid driving my ford 6610. The shifting was from 2e to 3e gear was somtimes to heavy for me as a 14yr old and I wasnt fast enough to shift so when it was in 3e gear the tractor already stood still haha nice ford memories.
The weathers being a pain here to in Manitoba, The guy I buy straw from figure it would be a while until it was ready to combine. He phones me 4 days early and said we got 100 acres dropped at 9.30 pm. yesterday it got 1 1/2" of rain on it before the baler got hitched to the tractor. The straws short and brittle so we can't do anything other than let it dry on it's own, and there's another 100 there to drop yet and it's calling for rain again Monday! The best thing you ever bought after the T dub was that straight pipe. We could do with a video in the dark, with the get out of the way power flame coming out the pipe please if you got time one night. The 956 IH's I used to drive on silage carting did that. It used to scare the cr@p out of the tourists on the real steep hills, as I was coming up with big trailers full bore on single lane roads with passing points. If they couldn't back up when they went to Wales on holiday, they sure could when they left L.O.L Thanks for the video.
I'm from Saskatchewan Canada where on the most part the farmers try to be as far the side of the road to allow the general traffic to work around them. The equipment width are very large sometime as 6 meters wide for the tractor and the equipment which will 20 meters wide but folded to be again about 6 meters wide.
With all that clutching in a tw ur leg will b ready ta fall off by the end of the day just work the revs right and work the clutch normally and won't have any bother and also when oil is cold in them gearboxes there always harder too change gear George is a good pilot he knows what his doing
l love your videos but mostly when you use the old tw25 because its old stle farming all levers rather than those modern tractors with bloody electronics
Probably not your call, but wouldn't it make more sense to pound out the big squares than to stop to wrap and dump the round bales? I see both in Stacks is why I ask.
You have to love the smoke cloud shadow 2:00. Beast! 👌
