  • This video discusses how to determine the pH of salt solutions. Salt? That has a pH? Well, when you think of table salt, NaCl, that has essentially a neutral pH. However, there are many salts that contain acidic or basic ions in them that will change the pH of a solution when added (because you are adding the conjugate of a weak acid or base).
    This video is labeled 5b not because it belongs with part 5, but because I numbered all my videos already and realized I forgot this one and didn't want to renumber all my videos. =)
