- In the early 2021s, a kind of wave came out of the ocean to reach our minds...
Did you feel it?
Suddenly, thousands of people started to think and care about the ocean, and so did I.
During this time, I looked back at the Lego theme that built my childhood, Atlantis.
As a MOCer, I wanted to build something in tribute to that theme, but at the same time made sense.
When I was younger, I was very interested as well in the abyss and its fauna. Indeed, the sperm whale (Philester Macrocephalus), is the only known predator of the giant squid (Architeuthis Dux).
A few bricks later, here is the model, not 100% complete...

This is AMAZING, my first lego set when i was just a little 6 year old was an atlantis set, and this looks so well done and amazing. Great work truly, I have been inspired. I wish lego could make this into a real set.

So many amazing MOCs should be official Lego sets...
And so many official Lego sets should not be.
At one point I thought about putting it in Lego Ideas, but there's no point, because it doesn't stand a chance against a sitcom or something, and you can't submit official Lego theme ideas.
And considering how timid Lego is about their themes, I don't think they willl recreate Atlantis by themselves.
This should definitely become a real lego set

I'm afraid that would be quite problematic...
I had a rather bad experience about Lego Ideas, with my Totoro Model, and I don't think I'm ready to start a new project.
The problem is not that it wouldn't reach the 10000 supports, but rather that its chances to be selected are very low.
Maybe one day I'll consider this question again, for the 20 years of Atlantis for example. Who knows ?

As I answered many times, I haven't proper instructions, only the stud.io files, and they're quite messy.
I still can send them, but I think one day I should seriously tackle this problem and create real instructions.
So, tell me if you'd like to have the stud.io file.
Otherwise, I think the instructions could be ready around the end of the year, and I'll contact you at that point.

I didn't work that much on the instructions, and I have to rework the firing system, which drives me crazy... 😅
When my ongoing project will be finished, I will focus on the submarine, and I would hopefully send everything in the community tab, but I can't guarantee anything.

As I mentionned a couple of times, there are no instructions yet, but I still can send the raw stud.io file, if you want to.
I would really like to make those instructions, unfortunately I wasn't able to take time for this.
I cannot give you the exact time this task requires, but be sure that I will mention you once it will be finished !

Actually, the studio file isn't 100% complete, I mean that the base haven't been digitalised. Also, I was saying there weren't instructions, but if you're used to Stud.io, you shouldn't have any problems: the submodels are already done.

No need to ask things that way, the instructions are on their way; I've precisely been working on them this week-end, as I finally had time to work on this project.
I would say it's a matter of two weeks before they are done.
Though I can still upload the digital file sooner, if you'd already like to make some calculations.
But even if you're impatient, there's a proper way to ask things.
