the steelers started as a super bowl contender. The way we played last night we'll be lucky to get out of the first round. It's not about if the bills are good or bad, it's about what the steelers were expected to be vs. what they look like recently

To be fair to the Steelers, they've been dealing with a lot of unfortunate injuries. Let's not overlook the effect COVID has had on them. That said, Mike Tomlin is one of the best coaches in the game. I wouldn't count him out yet.

Steelers have gone from a team bidding for a perfect season....to a team that's playing more like a team that could be prey for a 1st round exit.
I’m disappointed in my steelers. We are not even getting out of the first round if our offense can’t perform. We can only play defense for so long
Roethlisberger is done. Hes been done. But no one wants to blame him. Steelers shouldve been grooming the next qb instead of hangin on to this guy. Maybe our squad can actually learn to make adjustments in game instead of being stubborn and not changing anything.

I don’t think it’ll be better next year and it’ll deplete to league average in the next few years. That’s why we need a win now QB
As an honest Steelers fan I think I speak for us when I say we are frauds. We may have 2 Ls because we have the weakest schedule in the league. Teams like the Chiefs, Ravens and Seahawks are way better than us. This is from an honest Steelers fan btw.

Max is for once absolutely right. This Steelers team in exhausted. No other team in the league was forced to go through what they went through, and they paid the price for it. Over the last 3 weeks the Steelers have lost 7-8 guys due to injuries. The Steelers were a super bowl contender, but as of right now, these injuries have knocked them out of that conversation.
Other Steelers fans, they are a professional football team, they’ll either figure it out or they won’t, let’s just be thankful for what we’re going to have. A pretty successful season that’ll be one game longer than the last years were.
Some people don’t know their football man... Steelers beat the Ravens practice squad by 5 points and got whooped by the best team they’ve played this season. Steven A is a realist and he knows this team would get beat down by the chiefs. Steelers really do look a lot like the 2019 Pats. Good, very well coached team that started off the season great but attrition and so-so/not overly clutch skill guys on offense ultimately limited the ceiling as the playoffs approach.

Max doesn't know how days of the week work. The Steelers just had their 4th game in 22 days. Just like almost every other team in the league. Now, they have had their past 3 games in the last 12 days, whereas most teams have had their past 3 games in 15 days, but he is making the fatigue issue seem like a lot more than it is.
I don't know why no one corrected Max on this, when he was saying it all day, but yeah, basically every team has had 4 games in a 22 day span. That's just how days of the week work.

Why is it that whoever the Bills beat, the commentators talk about the teams that lost more. Doesn't the sign at the top of screen say Steelers at Bills. All I heard was Steelers, Steelers, Steelers? How about respecting what the Bills did not what the Steelers didn't do? At the beginning of the season, they told us what Josh Allen couldn't do but now they act amazed at what he can d. Seems to me the Bills management over 3 years, built their star QB in the correct fashion. The scary thing about Allen is that he can still get even better. He gets the ball out quicker than any QB has in 10 years. He doesn't need to be mobile. Of course fatigue is a factor. 4 games in 19 days will do in any football team. That's why they shut out the Bills in the first half and got destroyed in the 2nd half. The Steelers defense wore out. Not to mention their secondary is not the same when Haden isn't playing. The Steelers were not #1 against total yards and #1 against the pass for no reason. The biggest factor is coaching. What will the Steelers do now that teams have exposed Pittsburgh's dink & dunk offense? Why isn't Claypool going deep? Why were they bringing the house all 2nd half and leaving the backfield exposed? What hex has been put on the Steelers' coaching staff?
